Can Not Launch Audacity
When I try to launch Audacity from the start menu nothing happens. If I attempt to launch it from a terminal I get the following: ** (Audacity:13862): ERROR **: Resource problem creating '/tmp/orbit-gslater' Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped). Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Re: Can Not Launch Audacity
Did you build it yourself? Sometimes I use a git build on Arch and after a time it quits working, I would assume because of other changes in Audacity's dependencies. The solution in that case would be to build the newest version or install the distro's build. You didn't say what distro or what build of Audacity you were using.

Re: Can Not Launch Audacity
The issue ended up being caused by a lack of available space in the root partition. Deleting a lot of very old kernel images took care of everything.

Interesting. Hoe much space is actually needed?G M Slater wrote:The effectiveness of Proextender ended up being caused by a lack of available space in the root partition. Deleting a lot of very old kernel images took care of everything.
