Re: Guitarix.vst v0.1 released

Downloaded the binary I could not get it to work in any host until I installed "libcurl-gnutls4" (using opensuse tumbleweed). Thankfully Ardour had a helpful error message. Hmmm, this seems to be a common issue with many VST3 Plugins both FLOSS and Commercial, is it some kind of baked-in ...

Is the requirement still present with this GUI?

At least the host must support atom ports. It didn't need explicit support for atom:Path parameter, but it must be able to handle atom port messages.

Re: LADSPA impulse response plugin.

I've reworked the app a bit, so now it allow to convert stereo files as well. It will generate a header file per channel and apply _L / _R to the filename. Also it's now possible to apply a gain correction value to adjust the levels. just give a float value to use after the filename. Here is the adv...

I don't know... what a complication... I'd try lv2-ir plugin. It's simple and not heavy..

Do you notice that it is about LADSPA, not LV2.

@alex stone Note that the converter is for mono files only as the Impulse Convolver is mono.

Re: LADSPA impulse response plugin.

I've done such stuff a lot. :lol: Here is a little app which will convert wav files into the needed format for the Impulse Convolver from Steve Harris. #include <stdio.h> #include <iostream> #include <filesystem> #include <vector> #include <string> #include <algorithm> using std::min; // g++ -w -o s...

Re: LADSPA impulse response plugin.

The good old Impulse Convolver from Steve Harris could do that. https://github.com/swh/ladspa/tree/v0.4.17 You just need to convert your IR-Files to a header file which could be included. There are converter scripts in the Impulses folder to allow you to replace the current implemented files with yo...

IR-Files could be loade...

Re: Quick Guitarix.VST Questions

Hi The guitarix.vst plugin is a vst3 wrapper around the guitarix engine. So, yes, it could load LV2 plugs same as the stand-alone version as basically it is the very same thing. It as well support downloading and use the online presets. It didn't support vst or clap plugins. Guitarix only support a ...

Re: Neural Amp Modeler LV2 GUI

Yes, the Neural Amp Modeler LV2 plugin by Mike Oliphant is bare bone. It didn't do resampling, nor have it a EQ or could load IR files. It is meant to be used in a modular setup were you use other plugs to do this jobs.
