Re: One has to go...

I mix in QTractor. So far, I have a good recording with no noise, hum or hiss... Then, I transfer each track individually to the other laptop. And then...the hiss comes in. I transfer into Ardour, so I can further work with the tracks. I noticed that the hiss and noise build up as I unmute tracks. ...

Re: Is MusE dead, not dead or it's a zombie?

Yeah, I saw that. But if you see there are no interactions with the issues There's been some interaction on https://github.com/muse-sequencer/muse/issues/1055 (just) less than a month ago - doesn't seem too bad to me... and no talk about the rebranding. I haven't really heard about any rebranding -...

Re: Youtube Plugin?

Hi I am new in this forum and I have missed being able to embed videos in messages. I think it facilitates usability to be able to see the multimedia content embedded in the posts instead of having to use an external link. That makes a lot of sense! I wouldn't want to allow YouTube to be able to tr...

Re: transposing chords

C4 or middle C may or may not be the default C-Major-Key starting point but let's assume that it is. Let's say I want to play the song in C-Major but the singer says "I need a higher key". I hate presuming things but I would presume that B-Major would be the highest key that I could offer...

Re: transposing chords

What is the order of keys by vocal range, is it the same suggested by the position of the first scale note on the piano? Yes - well, more precisely, the pitch, but that comes down to the same thing in practice here I'd say? Yes pitch. Say I start a major scale on a C on a keyboard (the guitar neck ...

Re: transposing chords

how should I approach the problem of chords? Reduce them all to roman numerals and then substitute the same roman numerals applicable in C? Compared to what? This is a fine approach, but other approaches (like transposing each note individually) should have an identical effect: For example a A majo...

Re: LM not in google.com results?

Thanks for the ping! It seems https://linuxmusicians.com/robots.txt was producing a 500 error, perhaps that was the cause. I have fixed that problem (fingers crossed I didn't break anything else ;) ). Google Search Console doesn't currently show any problems, but I just enabled it, so it'll take a w...
