Will Claudia launcher run SooperLooper ?
SooperLooper doesn't seem to be available in Claudia application menu. Any idea how I can have it load in studio ? Thanks.

FesTige saving plugin states with wrong decimal delimiter
I use a plugin a lot and sadly, it won't save state right. Here's the file it writes : <plugin_state> <check field="productString" value=""/> <check field="effectName" value="TSE 808 v1.0"/> <check field="vendorString" value="TSE Plugins"/>...

How suitable is KXStudio for headless operation ?
Out of the box, obviouslt not much. I recently came accross theis ladish-control cli app that I liked a lot. This makes me wonder. I would like it a lot I could set my live rig up in KXStudio and then run it headless at shows. What do you guys think ? Is this something you guys do already ? If so ho...

Re: Claudia XML file looking weird
Fair enough. I guess I need some Ladish education. All I use is studios yet. Just tried creating a room from basic template and it didn't work. Got the "something went wrong" message I've had enough of for tonight. I'll read some documentation about this later. Thanks !

Claudia XML file looking weird
Not sure here a a suitable place for bug report but here's whay I found tonight : Claudia does great at saving Ladish studios but there seem to be some weird string encoding going on with application FesTige commandlines. I mean, it's full with %2F and %27 which make it very painful to read for huma...

Re: claudia and cadence wont launch
I solved pretty much the same problem with my system tonight. Claudia would crash Jack for no reason here too. QJackctl would start Jack fine. It took some editing to Claudia Studio XML file. I got rid of input output aliases and made them plain hw2. Now it works fine. Maybe that's your problem too ?

Re: Loading Windows VSTs within Carla
Great news! Thanks to a very stupid plugin that crashed right when initialized, I've added a few fixes for such bad behaved plugins (in this case, synth-edit based Windows VST, which are very common). Sounds great ! Be on the watch for the next round of updates  Can't wait ! Especially now th...

Re: Loading Windows VSTs within Carla
I installed KXStudio 64 on my fast mac mini today. It was a bit of a nightmare but I can report don't need to preload plugins anymore. Feels great though I regret I've been wasting my time with this old laptop.

easy there, this is an experimental feature.... relying on it is bad business... Well it's not like there are any alternatives that I know about. the "pre-load" can be easily done by running 'wineboot' before the plugin. I'll give this a try. session save and load on plugin-bridges ...

Re: KXStudio FAQ
Maybe the first post in this thread should be updated. It still says : Should I use 32bit or 64bit? If your computer supports 64bit - use it! The new Ubuntu 12.04 now properly supports muti-arch, which means that you can now even install a 32bit deb package in a 64bit system. Also, most libraries ar...

Re: Loading Windows VSTs within Carla
Alright, I somehow came up with a "solution" I can live with till it's all fixed. This is some sort of initscript that preloads plugins so Carla can open them too and kills them aferwards. Sketchy thing but this lets me explore Carla a but further and I am now surprised how it can actually...
