Re: lkjb plugins ?

Oh.. I installed the luftikus deb version this afternoon from the deb file. This is still in /usr/lib/vst. Maybe that's part of the problem.

Re: lkjb plugins ?

If you uninstall the Distrho Ports package(s) from KX it will not conflict I usually just copy the so files into my home/.../.vst folder if that's possible. You mean you are unzipping and extracting the Debs to put the Plugins in your home .vst folder? You won't want them installed system wide by a...

If there's a conflict I better do not use it. :|

The Refine plugin is working in Reaper.

Re: lkjb plugins ?

I copied the Luftikus.so into my .vst folder, but it also does not appear.

What is not clear to me. How can this interfer with other plugins? Because they are doubled?

Re: lkjb plugins ?

Hi, For the record on AV Linux (based on MX Linux) Luftikus is showing both LV2 and VST UI's in Reaper but it is not from KXStudio it is part of a custom packaged 'Distrho-Ports' package created for AVL-MXE.. shot-2023-01-04_17-17-31.jpg That Package is here but will conflict with the KX Studio Dis...

The vst folder in the download from kx contains:

Thank you, that helped. I copied the whole folder to .vst. Seems more is needed than just the *.so files.

You may try https://github.com/x42/xfade.lv2

Good catch @khz, Switchbox are a good alternative too, never used them:

xfade works :)

Re: lkjb plugins ?

Luftikus VST does not work (not found in VST host, tested Reaper and Renoise) anymore on MX Linux MX-21.2.1_x64 Wildflower

Could this be a Qt thing? In Carla it's found.

Re: Building Carla from source - some GUI issues

Hi, Why build it? You could 'probably' be OK to enable the KX Repos in MX and install Carla and the required bits and then disable the Repo... or download the Carla binaries here: https://kx.studio/Applications:Carla I'm quite puzzled why you would move to MX and do most of the stuff that AV Linux ...

Re: A/B Switch for Jack?

Happy new year! You don't need Carla to use switchbox. Just extract stereoswitchbox.lv2 from the .deb installer of mod-utilities from the plugin page of kx.studio . And there's no need to install the kx-repo at all. And in MusE at least, I can get a working switch, serviceable by a mouseclick or au...

Oh my goodness... It took me now one hour to load a LSP equalizer into Raysession with a config file. What actually works is:

Building Carla from source - some GUI issues

Hi just tried to build Carla from source on MX Linux (MX-21.2.1_x64 Wildflower), but I have some issues. I first installed all dependencies and except of QT4 (which is not available in MX Linux) everything looks good: $ make features ---> Main features Front-End: YES LV2 plugin: YES VST2 plugin: YES...
