Anybody have ideas how I can test this so I give some hard data to our hosting provider?

Re: Bandwidth problems?
Support said it was likely a temporary issue and everything should be all good now. They suggested clearing your browser cache as well (not sure why...) but right now my load times are great. Let me know what your experience is.

Re: Bandwidth problems?
We've had database issues before with our hosting provider. Let's see if it clears up in a day or so, and if not I'll open a support ticket.

Re: Bandwidth problems?
Thanks for the update. Anybody else having performance issues? If so, please post and let me know so I can better represent our issues to the hosting provider.

Re: Anyone using Audiveris?
IF it ends up being pretty accurate, and projects like Denemo and MuseScore include really good MusicXML import--this would be SO AWESOME.
That is all

Re: Choosing my first notation program, playback?
Great summary, raboof.
My I think that Rosegarden probably offers the most control of the playback, but I think that NtED and Musescore are the easiest to use in terms of input. NtED is wonderful, but lacks some advanced features -- MuseScore ends up being my all-around favorite notation editor.

Re: Hello from the lovely city of...
Congratulations! We just had our first child 3 months ago, so I totally understand where you're coming from in terms of taking breather from the 'nets. That's one of the reasons I haven't been as active around here--but it's all worth it man. The joys of being parent are indescribable.

Re: denemo - length of staff
Why do you prefer Denemo over MuseScore? I like the keyboard-style note entry in Denemo, but I found the learning curve for entering less common symbols kind of frustrating.
