Re: Airwave VST bridge
Please, start Bitwig in the background, remove all of your links, create one new link and show me the messages. Also, the contents of the ${HOME}/.config/airwave/airwave.conf file would be useful for me.

Re: Airwave VST bridge
Well, I feel that I've misunderstood you. It seems that you getting the message "Link <filename> is corrupted" in the logs. First of all, the "link location" directory should be writable by the Airwave. Second, you shouldn't move manually any .so files, created by the airwave man...

Re: Airwave VST bridge
The message "VST plugin is corrupted." is shown when Airwave plugin binary (airwave-plugin.so) isn't found. Where did you install the Airwave? You should set the "Binaries location" (in the settings dialog) to the path, where the Airwave binaries are located. See this screencast ...

Re: Airwave VST bridge
Vrangor, I have successfully installed Airwave using the LMDE (Cinnamon) livecd (screenshot).
Do you still have your issue? Can you try to install the latest package?

Re: Airwave VST bridge
I have downloaded the Linux Mint livecd from here , started it and installed the deb package without any issues. Will try to find your issue anyway. Re: Airwave VST bridge
Vrangor, try to install the updated package: https://github.com/phantom-code/airwave ... _amd64.deb
I hope that the issue with incorrect wine dependency should be solved.

Re: Airwave VST bridge
What package have you extracted manually? I guess it was the Arch Linux package? The binaries from the Ubuntu package linked with correct libstdc++. I will update it soon with less strict wine dependency.

Re: Airwave VST bridge
The binaries from my package are linked with libstdc++.so.6.0.20 and it looks like the latest version you have is 6.0.19. Can you update the libstdc++6 package? On Ubuntu this could be achieved by the following command sudo apt-get install libstdc++6 I will try to use an older compiler and change th...

Re: Airwave VST bridge
The 64-bit to 32-bit bridging is implemented in a new version 1.1.0. Now you can use 32-bit plugins on a 64-bit host. My tests are passed successfully, but this is very experimental release. As usual, there are binary packages for Ubuntu and Arch Linux on the releases page.

Re: Airwave VST bridge
Personally, I also use mostly the 32-bit plugins. AFAIK, wine is more stable in 32-bit mode. Also, there is no any significant benefits from 64-bit plugins (perhaps with an exception of the NI Kontakt) as Airwave launches separate process for each plugin anyway (a process may get 4 GB of memory).

Re: Airwave VST bridge
Does this require ubuntu 14.04? The Airwave manager application requires the Qt5 library for GUI, but this is just the graphical configurator. Technically, you could use only the bridge itself and write the configuration file manually (JSON). Practically, I wouldn't recommend this, as you should kn...

Re: Airwave VST bridge
Vrangor, I'm planning to add 64->32 bridging functionality to the Airwave. If everything goes smoothly, it'll be in the next minor release.
