It does look better than i remember it, thanks. But apparently the reason i didn't like it back when i was looking for a platform for my music is that it only has lossy mp3s :(

Finding CC-BY-SA music for remixing
One of my major complains about major music platforms is inability to filter music by license. Lately (?) they are also making a point of hiding license somewhere where it's hard to find. Sure, all jamendo music is under some cc license and there's "creative commons" tag on bandcamp (is it...

nzjz - noise/improvisation/remix longtrack
About a half year ago i finished the music of my latest album — a mix of improvised music, processed libre tracks, spoken word and noise — in fact it didn't take me any serious amount of time finishing. I was going to release it and started working on the cover art, and duh, that did take time. But ...

Re: Reupload of my music collection in clearnet
Any additional info, like which order were they created in, any themes on the records or is it random? :) I think bandcamp sorts by release date, which i've set correctly. Non-albumed tracks (haven't uploaded most yet) are usually considered "draft", albums usually follow some common them...

Reupload of my music collection in clearnet
I'm not a big fan of existing platforms, so my primary music place is still decentralized network ZeroNet, but since i'd like to make my music more available to more people, i've finally overcame my distaste and published most of it on bandcamp . Unfortunately my latest works don't fit there due to ...

Re: construct/destruct
Well, i'm getting those too, but only after the page is loaded (so it doesn't affect anything). Here's another proxy, maybe it'll work better for youfolderol wrote: All I get there is this:

Re: construct/destruct
Just found this old post, and wanted to drop a kind word. I find the recording rather listenable. It is, as you describe, droning and repetitive, entrancing. The changes happen frequently enough to keep the active listener engaged. The sounds are interesting and the rhythms have just enough momentu...

Re: Collaborative sound collage
The first one gives a cloudflare error, the second one an 'offline for maintenance', but the third one worked ;). I doodled some bari sax low notes that might fit somewhere? https://arnout.engelen.eu/collage-bari.wav Great ;) Not sure i'll be adding it to the track i posted above, but i can surely ...

Re: Ardour/yoshimi stopped saving synth parameters (debian)
This is due to a change in mxml 3.1 where they now no longer accept data that starts with a blank line (some warning would have been nice). In the latest version of Yoshimi this is fixed - V 1.6.0.1 We simply remove any bank lines, before passing it through mxml. Eh, so it isn't even considered a b...

Re: Ardour/yoshimi stopped saving synth parameters (debian)
Bummmer! Anyway, I don't know how Ardour works w/ settings files and projects. I'd try to start Yoshimi "stand alone" (if that's even possible) or via another application to determine if Yoshimi's settings are the culprit or Ardour is. Good luck! :) Thx ;) I actually just figured it out: ...

Re: Ardour/yoshimi stopped saving synth parameters (debian)
[...] I've also backed up and removed ~/.config/yoshimi, because it kept complaining about non-xml in there, but it didn't help either. [...] Maybe accidentally a "wrong" point or space was printed in that settings file. You say two things: your settings aren't read and the applications s...

Ardour/yoshimi stopped saving synth parameters (debian)
I'm not sure whether the issue is with Ardour or Yoshimi, so writing here looking for advice how to nail it down. After a system (debian sid) upgrade, every time i open ardour session with yoshimi instruments, all of them are reset to "simple sound". It seems like yoshimi was part of the u...

construct/destruct
New album, this time consisting of only two tracks (and even those use same material and intended for continuous playthrough). Unlike some other music i'm making, this album was made with intention to listen to it. More specifically, i wanted a long monotonous track to listen to while moving around ...
