Re: What music did your parents play in the car at home etc?

Can't remember. They were not much musical. Just putting up the radio. I think they had 20 vinyls and never saw one playing :).
Totally different then me, +-3000 vinyls, synths etc :).

Re: Bitwig 16 Track

Does that give a difference in sound? I find that simply importing the Bitwig tracks (don't know about stems) into Mixbus32C gives the overall a nice sheen. Then the 32C EQ comes into play. One reason that I do not use Bitwig for mixing is that I prefer to have the 32C EQ already present on all tra...

I'm playing with bitwig since it came out, and it has became my favorite daw, especially because back ...

Re: Current list of commercial plugins?

http://linux-sound.org/linux-vst-plugins.html Is this HP still up to date or is it active? (Current VST are listed.) I thought it is no longer maintained because it says "New Additions" --> "New Additions for Winter 2006/2007:". It's maintained. There is a plugin in that i bough...

I only choose yes, for better support of hardware, from sound interface to controllers etc.
It has been much worse ofcourse, but still it could be much better.

Re: Loomer's Architect announced

I think it could be interesting. For me it like Max for live, But it's daw independant. There are great devices build with max for live, But it's only usable in ableton. If Nice devices are gonna get build with architect, anyone would be capable to run those devices with architect plugin, even if th...

Re: MUSIC DISTROS

Why do you guys use such garbage as GRUB when there are much better loaders such as rEFInd. rEFInd scans EFI system partition during boot and lists all OSes. I didn't know rEFInd :). And Grub is already installed here since 10years maybe. From Lilo to grub. it just works so never felt like searchin...

I don't use Realtime patches anymore in years. Since Jack works in Realtime with Low latency desktop mode it's good enough for me.
5ms latency is fine.

and you can use the same :). Fantastic!
