Re: Firefox says forum is "incorrectly configured"

I am getting the same error. Is this a false warning, or is it something that really needs to be fixed?

Thanks.

Re: Early Mornings, Late Nights, and Long Roads

Your songs sound very good and professional. I would love to know how you put it together, also.

Thanks.

Cannot install kxstudio repos gcc5

Dear All, Just installed linuxmint cinnamon 17.3 with 3.16 low latency kernel yesterday. I added the kxstudio repos and many apps successfully. One app I could not install was kdenlive. It seems I need the kxstudio repos gcc5. I tried to install with: sudo apt-get install kxstudio-repos-gcc5 Reading...

Re: Future Linux audio hardware Interface support

Hello, I hope for Thunderbolt 3. From some recent articles below, it appears linux is seeing some support now. I like the idea of being able to continue using my firewire devices, since they are still my favorite over some usb devices. If I remember correctly it is much faster than the other new por...

Re: Is there an audio interface that I can use also as mixer?

Glad you found the mixer you want. Just wanted to report that my xenyx x1622 usb worked great with linux using the usb. Now, I use it with my behringer firewire fca 202, since it is not as limited as the usb connection. The usb was limited to 16bit. You can directly hook it up to the soundcard if yo...

Re: Monoplugs releases Monique an unique digital Synthesizer

Hello,

Trying this out now. No problems getting this going on my 17.1 linuxmint with kxstudio repos. Pretty gui window and getting cool sounds
out of my yamaha ypg235. The cpu usage is low, too, so far.

Thank you for your very good synth.

Re: Sudden firewire input problem

Dear LuckyAstronaut, My firewire suddenly stopped working a couple of weeks ago. I have a fca202 on linuxmint 17.1 with kxstudio repos. In my case, it turned out that jack2 was uninstalled and I had jackd1 instead. This must have happened through an update somehow. I went back to jackd2 , which did ...

Re: "No Sister"

Hello xaccrocheur, I did not get a chance to watch the other album videos as of yet. I will do so soon. I downloaded the qtractor tutorial a week or so ago. It is excellent and helped me to finally get something working in qtractor. Thank you. Obviously, you know how to make very good instructional ...

Re: Interface audio usb - disconnecting

Hello, Do not know if my solution can help you, so here goes. My yamahaypg235 usb midi keyboard was disconnecting for weeks. In my case I use a firewire fca202 hooked up to a xenyx 1622xusb mixer. This setup works great for me. Started out using cadence and catia. I could play it for awhile with som...

Re: "No Sister"

Hello xaccrocheur, Impressed with your video and music. Very creative and amazing. Have you thought of doing a how-to video on using Blender VSE for video editing? Have heard more than a few times that it is a superior video editor, but the learning curve for me was a bit much. I do better with prec...
