no, AUR is great. the first thing to do is to check the wiki. I use yaourt to build and install packages from AUR.... The latest wine is great. I've done like you before and tried other flavours of Linux audio distros and I come back... Deb distros frustrates the living daylight out of me especially...

when I use JcGui with my Digitech RP90, it's the best thing for me and my guitar since using the pc to record. Guitarix has certain tones I could only get from guitarix and I love that... dude, the latest guitarix looks great and sounds really good too. very noisy now but a nice crunchy distortion.

I still believe that they don't want the Jack side of things fixed because Winblows don't need it.

Dave is right about LMMS becoming WMMS. I remember putting thread up here stating that LMMS works better on my wife's XP than on Linux. I love the unit for quickly putting a tune together but not being able to use Jack with LMMS is a killer. The Winblows and Mac users just wait for a really good lin...
