Hi, thanks for the help! although there were some complaints about safety issues which I ignored I installed Rythmbox. The plugin magnatune shop could not be activated. But I can not see the stuff on it nor can I drop new music on it althoug the mousehand shows a + if I hover over the pod in the lef...

Hi there, is any of you aware of an online step by step instruction to get an iPod shuffle working under Ubuntu studio? that is very promising news. I have tons of arrangements in Sibelius and even Finale which I would love to be able to convert if I need them again...

Thank you all! recently we moved to Berlin. If you are recording audio only, ardour is a better choice than rosegarden imho. If I do not record the whole band at once I usualy work like this: -record a guitar part -make a tempotrack -enter all instruments as midi > softsynths -record all guitar part...
