Re: Melonix
Sad ... but it probably has died. There is still no tool under Linux that can come close to Melodyne and it will probably stay that way for a long time. After all, there remains at least mx tune with which halfway semi-serious work is possible. Everything else under Linux is completely out of the q...

Re: Melonix
People using Apple and Microsoft tells me they have money Any non-Apple and non-Chromebook PC one buys off-the-shelf in the US has Windows pre-installed on it. Last year I bought a new laptop for $119 at Best Buy on Black Friday, the cheapest laptop in existence at the time, and it came with Window...

Re: The Superpiano
@d.healey I haven't been following this thread. Can someone quickly fill me in on the details? If the samples are already prepared, perhaps it's something I could quickly put together as a Rhapsody instrument. The OP, @sofia-m, has released several really-well-recorded piano sample libraries, packa...

Re: The Superpiano
Ok dhealey, if a company ever wanted to develop a library for rhapsody, is there a way to encrypt the samples so that they are not accessible from HISE? I see an option in HISE to make the samples monolithic, I suppose that is the main problem that large companies do not develop sfz files because t...

Re: The Superpiano
I understand that you don't want to do a kontakt **ller, It's not that at all. Rhapsody is just different, it was intended as a way for me to be able to deliver sample libraries to my users more easily than having to compile them all as separate plugins with individual installers. It's not a develo...

Re: The Superpiano
Rhapsody isn't really a player, like Kontakt anyway. It's more of a manager and launcher for instrument expansions built with HISE. There is no documentation because a Rhapsody instrument is just a HISE instrument. However there is a bunch of dedicated scripts and a template for building an expansio...

Re: Zero tracktion on youtube...
Same here, it doesn't seem as simple as just use this or that adblocker. The only thing I've found to completely get round is to not be logged in. Which makes me think they are using some technique you have to agree to in the ToS and also this is going to be a precursor for some/a lot/all videos on...

Re: Zero tracktion on youtube...
Youtube now blocks me from seeing anything unless I turn off my adblocker or buy Premium. It started with a closable pop up but now just replaces the video with a notice. It only does it when I am logged in though. People's experiences are varying, I know some who have the same and some who haven't...

Re: Zero tracktion on youtube...
On my channel ( @melissarainchild ) - I have 64 subscribers. Normally, I'd have at least some traction, even if just a few seconds view... I have around 50 subscribers on Patreon, these are people who are paying me to put out videos for them. The last one I put out only has 4 views. So no views wit...

Re: high quality plugins for cinematic music?
@d.healey The sound quality is CRAZY. Do you plan to add strings and other more classical orchestra instruments? Thanks. Yes I started off with orchestral woodwinds and I also put together the brass but I'm not 100% happy with either so for now I've pulled the woodwinds and the brass remains unrele...

Re: SSL and Harrison consoles
Really? That came from users? I implemented a download manager in my app/plugin because users found the manual process of downloading files and using a built in automated installer too complicated. Mine is a little different as it doesn't require a separate downloader/manager app, it's all built in...
