Re: [ANN] LSP Plugins 1.1.0 released!
I transfer the content of graph for X and Y axis with the 25 FPS frame rate to properly update the state on the UI side fyi, 25 FPS is not a given constant. Hosts may use lower or higher update rates. A decent host will tell its plugin about the rate it uses [1] via the options feature [2]. [1] htt...

Re: Midi to CV/Gate
It is indeed an internal plugin and not available as a separate LV2 plugin.I'd be shocked if its not an lv2 plugin you can use in carla too.

Re: Midi to CV/Gate
E.g. route note events through Note2CC plugin [1] and then use CC for automation in host.

Re: Advice on GUI toolkits
Do you need user input?
As you seem mainly wanting to do visualizations and ploting, you may want to look into a vector graphics library.
Cairo [1] comes to mind. There are also plotting libraries [2] based on the latter.

Re: Looking for a "MIDI transistor" (on/off midi gate, midi controlled)
My moony plugin [1] can do such things. Just load it in jalv [2], with or without GUI and you have your desired JACK MIDi transistor. The attached preset [3] should get you going. I had the feeling there was once a thread on the LAU mailing list, and here it is, maybe there's something useful in it

Re: MPE (Expressive Midi)
By "configure manually", you mean take a multi-timbrel synth and manually set each and every channel to the same patch and manually update every channel if I tweak the patch? That's prohibitively tedious. Almost exactly like that. You need to figure out which channel belongs to which MPE ...

Re: MPE (Expressive Midi)
@wolftune MPE has been designed to be downwards-compatible with existing synths not directly supporting MPE, e.g. you can send MPE to zyn/yoshi right now, you just need to configure them manually.

Re: Video Editing in Linux
blender is great for short clips and has support for JACK transport. A very nice feature, as you can edit video in blender and at the same time edit audio in your JACK transport enabled DAW and need only to merge them when happy with both in a second step.

Re: The Patchbay family
I've migrated patchmatrix [1] from a pure matrix style patcher to something between a matrix and flow style patcher - let us call it a flow-matrix patcher. It tries to omit disadvantages and combine advantages from both matrix style patcher (space efficiency, single-click (dis)connection, short mous...

There's a ticket in Arch's bug tracker [1]. I've proposed patches to fix some of the issues. Feel free to chime in.

Re: synthpod
You can add as many instances of 'midi2control' to your setup as you need.chaocrator wrote:p.s. 8 slots is too little for controlling synths, so i would like to experiment with growing their number.
(i use to control all parameters of all synths with hardware MIDI controller)
