I've made Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit and 32 bit versions, so they should also run on older systems.
I've updated the link in the first post.

It's a good plugin, works nicely with the Sonatina sounds too.
The strings (sustained and pizzicati) in this piece were made with SFZero and the Sonatina set:

Re: Linux VST/VSTi list updated
I've ported over a few vst's if anyone is interested. These vst's can exist in Linuxworld, it's just a case of porting them over. Scorchcrafter Guitar Amp Sim https://github.com/osxmidi/LinVst/blob/amp/scorchvst.zip Added. And thank you very much for porting this one, I've known about the ScorchCra...

Sfz vst SFZero
I discovered this basic sfz vst, so I thought I'd put it through the Jucer and make it for Linux.
It's only basic but I've tested it with some Kawai Piano sfz's and it seems to work https://freepats.zenvoid.org/Piano/acou ... piano.html

Re: Airwave: error on cmake
I've never compiled Airwave but maybe the "VST3 SDK" needs to also be in the path. From the Airwave github readme, -DVSTSDK_PATH=${HOME}/VST3\ SDK If you have problems then just follow the Airwave github readme. ---- Unpack the VST SDK archive. Further I'll assume that you have unpacked it...

Re: Article: Dplug For Developing VST Plugins on Linux
Dplug seems interesting and seems to be somewhat based on Reapers WDL. I did have a look at it when I was porting a Windows vst to Linux but I chose dpf (distrho) instead, but I needed to modify a few things relating to inbuilt presets and some other things but it all worked out pretty well in the e...

Re: Do 64 bit VST's work in Linux?
The LinVst .so files are used within a Linux vst capable DAW, such as Ardour, Bitwig, Tracktion, Reaper etc. All that is needed is that the .so filename matches the vst filename and that the .so and vst files are in the same directory/folder (there is a conversion utility that can name convert fold...

Re: Do 64 bit VST's work in Linux?
Do 64 bit (Windows) VST's work in Linux? The only ones that I can get tot word are the 32 bit ones. 64 bit vst's can load on 64 bit Linux distros using Wine, but 32 bit vst's are the ones that can cause some problems on 64 bit Linux distros because 32 bit libraries need to be installed first (multi...

Re: Do 64 bit VST's work in Linux?
Carla can host 64 and 32 bit windows vst and is available as lv2 plugin and even vst. Works in any Linux host. Download Airwave deb files from :https://github.com/phantom-code/airwave/releases Heads up : With all these bridges and hosts. Make sure the host finds the plugin paths... There isn't any ...

Re: Synister Synth
I've used AntiX before. Seeing that it's based on Debian, then you can probably just install or upgrade gcc and libstdc++ might be upgraded. But I'm not sure what debian base version AntiX is and if gcc is available in the right version libstdc++.so.6.0.22 or higher This (gcc5) installs libstdc++.s...

Re: Synister Synth
Hi guys, my distro is AntiX (Debian) with the KXstudio repos added. I looked for a dist-upgrade but there was nothing to upgrade to. I don't have Bitwig, but I can try using Ardour and see what that gives me. Could it be something to do with file permissions? brian I've used AntiX before. Seeing th...

Re: Synister Synth
I've made a 64 bit and 32 bit vst static version which may (may not) work on your system https://github.com/osxmidi/synister/blob/master/1.0.2/linux/synistervststatic.zip I tried this static version. It didn't work for some reason. Am I correct that it requires a host like Carla or Qtractor? It's a...
