TuxGuitar and Guitarix at same time
Hello! Is there a way I can run Guitarix and TuxGuitar at the same time, so I can learn songs quietly on my computer? I've tried with Qjackd and Gladish, but they don't seem to recognize TuxGuitar. Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Muse 2.0 install
And after installing Doxygen, which I forgot, still won't work: -- Found Doxygen: /usr/bin/doxygen found Doxygen -- configured /home/ubuntu/Desktop/muse-2.0rc1/Doxyfile.in --> /home/ubuntu/Desktop/muse-2.0rc1/build/Doxyfile -- The C compiler identification is GNU -- The CXX compiler identification i...

Re: Muse 2.0 install
Well, that would be a rhetorical question. :) So, here is what I get from the first command: -- Could NOT find Doxygen (missing: DOXYGEN_EXECUTABLE) Doxygen not found -- The C compiler identification is GNU -- The CXX compiler identification is GNU -- Check for working C compiler: /usr/bin/gcc -- Ch...

I downloaded the source, and there's this README file which I read and read, and I don't understand nothing  Can somebody please ...

Guitarix and MIDI - help!!!
Hello everybody! I'm just starting with Linux, I don't have a clue about MIDI stuff, so that makes me a noob's noob. So, according to the Guitarix site, Once your guitar is perfectly in tune, the MIDI-output module will do its very best to grab every note you play and transform it into a MIDI-note. ...

Re: Hello! New Linux fan - and I need some help :)
Well, it's funny how things end up in the end. I tried the the AV Linux, couldn't boot again, The reason why I want to use a third party boot loader is because when I installed the Ubuntu for the first time, I was booting via GRUB, so when Ubuntu crashed, I had to fix mbr and all that hassle. So any...

Re: Hello! New Linux fan - and I need some help :)
Well, I deleted the partition. I had problems with Ubuntu in the past too. Once I did a dual boot with Ubuntu and XP, it was working fine for a while and then it just wouldn't load, then I had the same problem with Ubiuntu Studio 9 or something, can't remember which version was it exactly, then with...

Re: Hello! New Linux fan - and I need some help :)
@ Thad E Ginathom , Thanks for the reply, and I wish I listened to your advice about the realtime kernel. I don't know much about Linux and how it works, so I'll do my best to explain how things went downhill. First, I installed the Ubuntu 10. 04, updated it, and all went well. After that I went on...

Hello everybody! My name is Aleksandar, I'm from Republic of Macedonia, I'm a guitarist, and got interested in Linux some time ago.
