I need a live master MIDI-controlled "killshwitch" in JACK
I've got a live setup that I control with Oxygen 49 MKII=V, and I'd like to have one plugin/program that'd mute the sound only for as long as I'm holding one CC-enabled button down. I'd like this to operate on any MIDI channel, because I want this to be a master feature (for all instruments I play)....

MIDI bank selector plugin for Carla (concept)
Here's something I'd love to make, but I'm unable to code it

EBU R128 compressor plugin?
I've got an idea for something that might be useful, and make it easier to make audio content comply to EBU R128 loundess recommendation. The idea is very simple: take a well known compressor and make it react not to peak or RMS but momentary LU value instead. Why this is not already solved by regul...

Re: Linear phase EQ
I've found more information about the topic recently and looks like there's a confusion between linear phase EQ and minimum phase EQ. Looks like linear phase EQ has a bad impulse response, that can smear drum transients, while minimum phase EQ doesn't do that. I'm not educated in signal processing s...

LV2 version of Fragmental VST?
This plug-in is opensource. I've seen other plugins from the same developer ported to LV2, but not this one. I think it has a lot of unique processing capabilities in it, maybe someone would like to port it to LV2? :) http://www.niallmoody.com/ndcplugs/fragmental.htm http://www.niallmoody.com/ndcplu...

Re: CPU frequency locked at min. after unsuspening on batter
The governer is being changed fine, but he CPU frequency is unaffected. dmesg doesn't report any errors. I found something, but it doesn't show up when I plug/unplug the AC adapter, so I think it's not related: [36395.298210] NMI watchdog: enabled on all CPUs, permanently consumes one hw-PMU counter.

Re: CPU frequency locked at min. after unsuspening on batter
Now I tried, and the phenomenon happens every time I disconnect the AC adapter.
When I plug it back in the CPU gets performance back.
However the CPU governor is reported to be ondemand all the time.

Autostart for Cadence JACK-ALSA MIDI bridge not working
It works this way since I remember. The ALSA-JACK MIDI bridge in Cadence doesn't start automatically, even though that option is enabled in the GUI ("Auto-start at login"). Also, if I start it manually, it never provides ports for hardware devices, even though I have that option enabled al...

CPU frequency locked at min. after unsuspening on battery
If I restore my system from being suspended to RAM while I don't have an AC adapter plugged-in, the CPU scaling is locked at the lowest value, and I'm unable to change it. It's unlocked as soon as I plug in an AC-adapter. I wonder if this is a feature of my machine (Dell Latitude 3550) or is it an O...

ALSA-JACK bridge produces bad clicks when stopping playback
This happens randomly with about 20% chance. I can hear that when someone writes to me on Facebook and the page is not currently viewed. A sound notification is played and sometimes it's followed by a nasty click. I captured it with jack_capture and I'm attaching an excerpt from that in 32-bit float...

LV2 version of Freq Tweak?
http://essej.net/freqtweak/ft_shot.png I wonder if it'd be possible to make an LV2 plugin out of FreqTweak to use in all cool DAWs we have. If you don't know it - it's a program that can split the audio signal in frequency domain into separate streams and then perform some cool processing independe...

EBU R128 normalisation plugin?
I'm looking for a plugin to perform realtime signal loudness normalisations to comply with EBU R128 recommendation. I'm not looking for a meter, but loudness processor.
Is there an LV2 plugin that can do this?
