Other than that use a lot of ghost hits (barely audible hits) to give energy. Also, it might be better if you can explain what your beats are lacking,...

Automation in Ardour with Zynaddsubfx

I might be missing something really obvious here but I can't work out how you automate things like zynaddsubfx when they are not being hosted by a daw. I want to automate things like filter cutoff for zynaddsubfx from Ardour but when I create a midi track a and look at the automation everything look...

Indian Music Software

Are there any tampura/tabla applications available in Linux? I always used to use the plugins from here when I used Windows - http://www.dharambir.com/indian-classic ... -softwares especially the Harmonic Visualiser when tuning my sitar.

Re: Discussion about Cakewalk X3 Producer native on Linux -

This could be interesting, I've never used Cakewalk but wouldn't mind now I'm not using Ableton. I saw this on that site: Linux needs at least one proffessional DAW for start This is revealing, I think most people who haven't dug in to Linux audio too much get put off because there isn't an all in o...

Re: Reverse audio in Qtractor?

No problem, I thought that was the case, thanks for the answer though. Do you have any plans to add that feature sometime in the future?

In that case would you consider a context menu option to locate file in a browser so it's easy to jump to it?

Reverse audio in Qtractor?

I've been trying to use Ardour but I'm getting frustrated with it and wants to try moving to Qtractor instead. Is it possible to reverse audio files? If you can't then what is the best/easiest way around this? I've got a feeling the answer will be locate the file and reverse/save to new file in Auda...
