Re: Chordz: only recording single notes
When loading the chordz plugin to Carla Standalone Rack and connecting the inputs and outputs like this: chordzoutsideardour.png It's recording the chords triggered by a single note from my midi-keyboard: chordzchords.png How can I configure the Carla-Rack plugin in ardour to make the chordz plugin ...

Chordz: only recording single notes
I want to record the chords I play via chordz-plugin . A midi track with chordz loaded via Carla-Rack plugin and Calf Fluidsynth is working fine. I play a single not on my midi-keyboard and I can hear a chord with the sound of the instrument chosen in Calf Fluidsynth. But as soon as I start recordin...

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
I solved the problem by uninstalling anaconda.
That's not a good solution, because I would like to use both anaconda and jack. If someone knows how to configure it with both working let me know.

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
On a virtual debian 10 machine QjackCtl and anaconda are both running together without any problems. So there must be another reason for this issue.

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
back to topic: I have manually uninstalled qjackctl by searching for any file or folder with this name and deleting it. After that I reinstalled it. Here is the terminal output: $ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local checking for gcc... gcc checking whether the C compiler works... yes checking for C comp...

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
Would it be best to start a new thread do you think. I mentioned it on an existing thread as it seemed to be the same problem. Well, this thread started as a question about QjackCtl. But on the other hand these problems with QjackCtl could be also related to the lack of the capture support for Saff...

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
Hello. I'm in the same boat as you with my Saffire 6. I've got a horrible feeling that the USB 1.1 version (vendor code 1235:0010) doesn't work with Linux, but that the USB 2.0 version (vendor code 1235:8008) does. work. Hm, that might be another problem on top. But my jack issue is the same one wi...

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
I tried to uninstalled qjackctl apt-get purge qjackctl For some reason I can still run it - with the same issue as before, even after system-restart. Why can't I uninstall it? If I run the qjackctl-0.6.2-42.x86_64.AppImage file I can select the focusrite interface: AppImage.png After starting jack p...

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
1. quit qjackctl; 2. remove the current configuration file or move it away: rm ~/.config/rncbc.org/QjackCtl.conf 3. launch qjackctl with "factory" defaults. Ok, did that. Now my ~/.config/rncbc.org/QjackCtl.conf is: [Defaults] ConnectionsTabPage=0 MessagesStatusTabPage=0 PatchbayPath= Ses...

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
I already use the latest version: qjackctl -v Qt: 5.9.7 QjackCtl: 0.6.2 2. launch exactly as follows from the same command line: LANG=C qjackctl The only thing that changed is the language, see screnshot my first post. By the way: how do you know how to change the language? I tried to find a manual ...

Re: QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
Ok thanks.
Now it's not greyed out anymore but the only option I can choose is 'default' - in both parameter and advanced tab.
I can start jack an also start ardour with this default device but the sound is coming from internal soundcard, not from Focusrite Saffire.

QjackCtl: USB-interace selection not available
When I configured QjackCtl for the first time it was possible to select the audio interface in the settings: interfaceselection2.png For long time I used the same USB interface Behringer UCG 102. I didn't change the settings in jack and it worked fine. Now I have a Focusrite Saffire 6 interface and ...
