I'm going to be documenting my planning and preparing of this, and I just put the first blogpost about it up at my site: http://www.zthmusic.com/fscons13-linux-audio-part-1/ I would love it if y...

Thank you all very much for your positive comments! This is a really fun project for me as well, and I'm determined to keep this up for long (or til we run out of people anyway, which doesn't look to be anytime soon ;) ). artek: It's fixed now at least, was a misbehaving cache plugin that did it. An...

Re: Might release an album...

Hey Smeefer! Cool idea! Regarding whether it's worth finishing and releasing or not - did you enjoy making it? Something tells me you did this because you wanted to. In that case, I'd say anything that's something that you personally want to do is more than well worth to release. If you do stuff you...

Re: The Friday Interview

Excellent piece ! I've spent time with Harry at a couple of conferences, he's a terrific fellow and a dedicated Linux audio coder. He's also a very good musician, which I think shows in his software design considerations. Well done, zth. Good questions, good presentation. I prefer the print medium ...

Re: Rated Blue Mixes - Mesmerized

Awesome version, and I'm absolutely honored to be mentoined in the OP :). I hope you continue working with synths some when you feel like it, it adds a nice layer to your otherwise very acoustic and pure base. Keep it coming, looking forward to the next!

Re: multichannel linuxsampler lv2 plugin

too much tracks, hard to record (have to split them every time) And I think having everything in the same MIDI-region is less efficient, as I do loop-based music and sequence everything drum-by-drum. Clearly, there are different use cases :) I have nothing against stereo version, but prefer 32-bit ...

Re: multichannel linuxsampler lv2 plugin

I use LS LV2 quite a lot, and I personally only use it in 2-channel mode. What drumkits are there for Linux that uses 32 channels? Anyway, for me personally, it's a matter of convenience, especially with instruments. Also, when I do drums, I do a track per part of the kit (kick, snare, hihat etc..),...

Re: Video Tutorial on Synthclone

Great work breaking down a very powerful and good piece of software! Synthclone really deserves its shine and such a thorough tutorial on how to use it. Great!

I also can't say enough good things about Devin Anderson, the developer. Really nice guy!
