Re: Best budget condenser?
AT2020's are nice indeed. Maybe the Studio Projects B1 is an option too? I like the B1 for vocals but it's less suited for acoustic guitar, at least, that's what I think.

Hello from the lovely city of...
Beverwijk! Indeed one of the ugliest cities of the Randstad in the Netherlands. But you know what? I like it here! True, true
I like Ubuntu minimal, with IceWM and a good theme. Runs on almost anything.

Re: Ubuntu Studio Vs. 64 Studio
I've never used 64 Studio, neither Ubuntu Studio, just plain Ubuntu with the Ubuntu Studio packages I need. I did try Ubuntu Studio once or twice but I like my systems clean and not crammed with all kinds of packages I don't need and that take me too much time to remove. I liked 8.04, a lot. It has ...

Re: who are the giants....?
My first post :) I'd like to add the following "giants": Funckarma/Quench Aphex Twin Autechre Bogdan Raczynski Lexaunculpt Drexciya Binärpilot But I also like more conventional music in which computers are involved like James Yuill, Plus/Minus and The Album Leaf (even though they all use M...
