Qtractor Instruments, DSSI & DSSI-VST

Ok it's been bugging me for a while although I don't use this nice program, what's the state of DSSI and instruments? * If it has support for DSSI, which I have understood til now as being a standard for "instruments", then why can't it load DSSI's default softsynths? * Is the DSSI-VST sup...

So that's basically having the computer monitors/speakers scream right? Or those amps w/ 2 outs 1 in? How about no loop:

guitar > soundcard mono in > soundcard mono out > amp in > amp screams

This is actually similar to: * Mute is alright. But faders are not relative. You can't "soften everything down to 0". This is a hardware + software problem. A manufacturing evil. We're getting all laptops these days with no hardware-level volume controller - it's either sensor or nothing. ...

Indamixx

Hope this is not too late of a reminder. Remember the prototype device we got a glimpse of sometime last year ? Well, Trinity Audio Group had finally delivered a marketable and working result at least two months back: www.indamixx.com No doubt, it looks tempting. According to the man himself , Ronal...

Yes, ever since I met LMMS it's been my tool to create synth tracks. It doesn't work well with JACK but with ALSA it's perfect. Did you know that it comes with native support for VST(i)? That's what got me attracted in the first place. Personally it's been a good experience, I'm surprised. Yes, it d...

I hope you've posted this in Hydrogen forums too, because frankly that's a very strange issue. Initially runs smoothly and after a particular period of time it "randomly" slows down? What is the effect of the slowdown? (eg. cracks, distortion, none) I did face pattern playback problems bef...

Yes it can be achieved with note editing software. For example I use Guitar Pro (refering to the exthread on writing beats). I don't know about the rest but GP is mostly guitar-oriented (and thus tab-oriented) so it's not entirely standard notation like NoteEdit or something like one of these transc...

Actually I use tuxguitar when I'm only playing back - not editing. Don't wanna call up wine just for that  Its UI is a little lacking for bigger scores where I need access to highlighting both page and track view, mute/solo/pan/ and all that shebang, mutli-track mode, hiding tab/standard notati...

It's fairly simple if you installed Windows first. I would let the Ubuntu GRUB do the talking. Just post your setup (menu.lst) and we will help.

You could try the tool irqbalance and do the following: sudo irqbalance Contrary to the standard --oneshot option which practically does nothing on my system since it applies only once, running it directly as superuser proves fruitful. Make sure the following outputs false : [ "$(zgrep CONFIG_I...
