Re: New ambient EP

Thanks for listening @folderol and @Impostor. Imposter, yes, definitely a different direction. Interesting about the contentedness, I guess that probably rings true into wider life but perhaps was temporary because I'm back to making darker stuff right now :)

Re: Continuing the jack/pipewire debate...

Just don't use it if you don't want to? I actually want to be able to recommend things to people, that will improve their situation. Whether I use it, or not. Extra work without superior results, and change for the sake of change, or an ego-driven 'trust me, my creation is better' simply isn't good...

Re: Continuing the jack/pipewire debate...

I think pipewire fiddles the figures so programs think they've got the same setup - but don't quote me on that. I'm not sure about that, I know in Bitwig you can change the sample rate and block size in the program so it certainly doesn't think that it's running the same setup, and I think VCV can ...

Re: build vcvrack from source code

I've built Rack many times but never seen fatal errors like that. You would be better off with the dependencies for Ubuntu, they would be closer to the package names you need for debian based distros. I'm not sure which dependency you are missing, if any, but I would first 'make clean' or just delet...
