Re: new GxSVT.lv2
I finally took the time to test a bit in Ardour at 96Khz. After about 30 seconds white noise ramps up and it goes completely silent. Otherwise, yes, it sounds very nice. Hi Thanks for reporting the issue. I've now added a resampler and do internal downsampling to 48kHz when 96kHz been in use. If yo...

For the Fun in it, I've implemented BPM sync to the Digital Delay (mono version) already, it's in guitarix git now.tramp wrote:Let me know which modulation plugs you are most interested to has bpm sync and I'll implement it into them.

Re: new GxSVT.lv2
Hi, I tried this with the basses from my QS8 synth, very impressive results. So I thought, why not try it on the synth sections? Indeed, some of them took on a cinematic profile, and it's very easy to strengthen sounds in the area(s) they may be lacking, without ruining the original patch design it...

Re: Mic characteristics plugins?
Second, the other characteristics of a mic are all described relative to a completely neutral sound. But anything you capture with a mic will already be coloured by that particular mic, and so is not neutral to begin with. So applying any sort of IR or EQ or whatever to such a signal, will not repr...

Not a plugin, but here you'll find a couple of IR files from over 40 different Mic's, to use with your favourite convolver:

Re: new GxSVT.lv2
Just finished my first full track using GxSVT and I am very happy. This plug is a real boon for anyone doing electric bass in the box. It's a truly convincing classic bass tone. :D Glad to hear that. Don't forgot to give us the link when you push it. I've also used it in my latest project. I've use...

Re: new GxSVT.lv2
Yes, it's a bug. Thanks for reporting.
I usually use the mouse-wheel to switch it, that's why I ain't recognise it.
I've now pushed a fix to github.
I'm glad you like it otherwise.

Re: Win the NEW Mixbus v4
Okay, here is the latest release of guitarix build with gcc5 for AMD to be compatible with Mixbus and Ardour5 nightly builds. Note, that this is for the gcc5 versions of them. It's build with the --convolver-ffmpeg flag as well, to avoid the initial crash on Mixbus when used fftw3. However, this rel...

new GxSVT.lv2
Hi As a follow up of this thread: https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=17031&p=81070#p81070 I like to announce GxSVT.lv2 here. After a couple of issues been solved, I like to push this simulation to the stable GxPlugins.lv2 branch. So, you ask what is it? Well, it's a analogue sim...

Re: Sing, beastie, sing!
So, if that makes any of you feel better, the problem is not Arch, but the rolling release approach, so Arch is off the hook and we can all live in peace again. All could live in peace again? uhhh, except the small community of debian sid users, which as well prone the rolling release circle. Wont ...

t's it just my terrible ear, or is the treble knob not working (on the gxSVT, not GxSD2Lead -- maybe we should start a new thread for that). I did not notice any difference turning it... You are right, your ears cant be so terrible. :D Again I trapped into wrong given values in the schematic. I've ...
