Re: Native Access 2 now works with WINE

Here are some needed steps for installing/using the old Native Access 1.14 that NI keep for win7 users etc Set up a working wine staging installation. Make contiguous empty disk space 3 times larger than your planned total Native Instruments installation size. go to https://www.native-instruments.co...

If even a commercial enterprise like Reaper...

I suspect Justin's enterprise isn't planning to join the Fortune 500 in 2024. His enterprise is hard work, listening to and responding to users, and being in the right place at the right time with some regularity.

IK Mulltimedia MixBox SE free temporarily

https://audioplugin.deals/product/mixbox-se-by-ik-multimedia/ At some point there will be an upgrade, IK are sale-aholics un-annonymous  This has a nice easy to use interface, but will likely require a Reaper, a recent wine-staging,wineasio for standalone versions, Yabridge to wrap pluginsand ...

Re: Arturia Analog Lab Play: free and authorized

I'm happy their plugins and authorization are working in my setup. I don't have an Arturia midi controller, and most big companies don't research making linux editors for their hardware, because they are in intense competition in the mac/win market, and it's 'battle stations, all hands on deck!' jus...

Arturia Augmented Strings demo working

Latest AVLinux, linux Reaper, and Yabridge. It has wine-staging 8.2 under the hood. The gui has a standard colorful view, with a selected set of controls, and an advanced view for precise controls, that is very easy and practical to use. The download is 3.3 gig, demo runs in 20 minute sessions. Lots...

Re: [Ambient] Intergalactic Warmth (2024 Version)

After hearing more rap tunes than usual this week, while listening to your piece, I thought, some rapper could use this as a cool backing, so I fired up a thumpy 90bpm kit in hydrogen, added rakarrak and a guitar, and it worked well. So the beginning need not be the middle or the end... It's cool yo...

Re: Arturia Analog Lab Play: free and authorized

After spending some time with this, I find the controls provided for these sounds provide a lot of possibilities beyond what the knob names indicate, so if you increase chorus, the brightness and timbre may come into more intense action when adjusted. Likewise, the time and movement controls may not...

Arturia Analog Lab Play: free and authorized

Happy that Arturia's authorization tool and installers work in the latest AVLinux! I just discovered Arturia have a light free version of Analog Lab V called Analog Play. The download was 3.6 gig, it took awhile to unzip, and then the installer slogged it's way throoo a rather  large number o...

Re: New DX7 Patches

I discovered last night, that Dexed supports L/R arrow keys to cycle through the sysex preset list. Because not all of the lists hold 32 sounds, I use the main selector to pick whatever is last in the list, and then the left arrow to work down to the first one, noting any really great ones along the...

They do have a registration app, but it's not an ilok, more like an IK software manager, but with less drama  I just discovered they have a light free version of Analog Lab V called Analog Play. The download was 3.6 gig, it took awhile to unzip, and then the installer slogged it's way throoo a...

Arturia Pigments demo working well

Arturia released an update to their Pigments synth plugin, of which I know nothing, so I downloaded/installed the demo. The controls in the plugin seem working fine, the demo limits are save disabled, and 20 minutes session time-limit then reload, so pretty easy to find if you like it. I found a pai...
