Thanks, but I am not interested in a plugin version. A standalone variant in form of pitch tool of Mixbus/Ardour is sometimes helpful, but I can use Reaper's time stretching as a fallback, and I need that extremely rarely, as I rarely do video editing.d.healey wrote:I think I might have solved it

Re: Problems Rubberband Pitch Shift in Audacity
This is a bug in Rubberband library itself, it behaves the same in Ardour and Mixbus even if used as standalone. Just tested it, confirmed. File a bug report.

Re: Ubuntu Studio 19.10 review
Still don't believe it ever approaches KXStudio in means of what's available in repos and how old is it. I remember about 10 attempts to use it, none of them actually succeeded. AVLinux and KXStudio were always really far ahead of Ubuntu studio, which always looked like a nasty joke on Linux musicia...

I wouldn't trust a developer who chooses HTML + CSS + Javascript for UI design, especially in applications that require to be responsive to the point of being actually real time. Dig it 6 feet under along with all the dev team.

Re: First release of KPP Plugins for guitar processing!
I hope the sample rate issue changes soon! A real issue is someone using 44100 Hz when tracking. 48K is more stable with most of hardware available, and it is a standard sampling rate for virtually any video out there, be it an ancient DVD or a 8K video on Youtube. I've had numerous issues with 441...

Re: Randall Cyclone amp sound in guitarix
Then you need to learn amplification. There's no button with “Make It All Just As I Want” written on it. Also, there's a huge market for click-and-point amplifier emulations.hdr wrote:I would like my guitarix-amp to sound like a randall cyclone

Re: Why Guitarix factory presets so awful and loud??
I am ready to provide a bass preset pack when the guitar part is finished. I totally agree with most of posters about default presets, they're insanely unbalanced, and seems they are created by people who don't know jack about real life guitar use, nor about guitar amplification in general. I'm not ...

Re: Chord progression and melody plugin
So, this should have happened sooner or later. How sad. I was hoping it will never occur, but the forces of evil succeeded. Don't you also want an automatic mixing application, an automatic publisher, an automatic promoter, and an automatic money collector?

Re: Rubberband LV2 source code
The FalkTX repo is the same one in my OP but Rubberband 1.8.2 wasn't released until 2018 so how could he have built the lv2 in 2016? Maybe there is a mistake somewhere. Also, no traces of LV2 version anywhere, so I think he just changed the LADSPA code a little so it can compile to LV2. You can req...

Re: Does Tyrell N6 use a lot of CPU?
Any decent synth is CPU heavy, except for ZynAddSubFX, which also can be quite a resource hog if too many stuff is used. There's no magic.

According to Google, there are the same threads on Ardour forum and right here. With answers, yes.

This will lead to a total mess, because different kits are recorded under different conditions, you'll run into phasing issues amazingly fast.Glocke wrote:is there a way to mix different instruments within DrumGizmo drumkits? Like picking the snare…

Re: Why I can't get away from Windows (for now)
Yes, there are some theoretical advantages to barefoot running, but there are also some very real limitations that you have to be willing to accept. Limitations like what? I don't see any significant besides Dante protocol, but it's way out of scope of home/stage user. Others are lack of knowledge ...

For Windows apps, use Windows. For Linux apps, GNU/Linux. Is it that hard to memorize?

Re: BiasAmp in Linux Wine
I have a LE license, but still didn't manage to run it. However, BIAS Pedal works well. Use ToneLib GFX instead. It's cheaper and sounds good. The only big downside is that it doesn't have stereo processing for mono parts of the signal chain, so no hassle-less double tracked guitars. Otherwise, it's...
