That sounds to me like a description of latency. That is not introduced by IR, but by the sound system as such. And indeed latency is a problem, if you want to use any effect, not just IR, in real-time. The only thing you can do is to adjust the sound settings to achieve as low latency as possible....

Hi, and welcome! If you don't want noise in your recordings, the only way is to buy an external sound card/interface. The more expensive, the more silent, but even a cheap one will be much better than the internal sound card. You want a real microphone, an XLR cable, and an XLR socket on your interf...
