Re: AV Linux 2018.4.12 Released!
Hi Glenn, great system you've put together, really appreciated, made a little donation the other day. I especially love how little latency is possible with Mixbus. two little things to consider: startup is fairly slow Kdenlive version from the debian rep is pretty ancient, so I installed the appimag...

@psyocean
Thanks, yeah, chello's always great...
@spamatica
I used very nice stereo-drumloops and usually if they're done well there shouldn't be a lot of imbalance between the different drums in the kit.

Re: Rated Blue - Heavy Dub Reggae recorded live with Ardour
Very impressive stuff, love the sound and the way the home studio is winning the race for 21st century music. The Bass panning is a bit confusing to my ears, but makes sense and gives the base it's own space.

Re: Gospel / Jazz / Pop - Collaboration
Hi, Great production! Very well mixed and love the vocals and that warm electric piano! Thank you Glen, much appreciated. Katrin (Painted on Silent Blue) is just awesome and for warmth - mda ePiano never fails to deliver;) Very nice! I don't get the gospel reference but it doesn't matter. :) I'm ki...

Re: Harrison Mixbus offers
One thing to add in favour of Mixbus: I can mix waaaay faster on it than on Ardour. This is due to the fact that the mixer-gui is structured like an analogue console, with "real" EQ-knobs , a "hardware-style" compressor and 8(12) integrated accessible bus-sends on each channel. i...

Re: Gospel / Jazz / Pop - Collaboration
Thank you Jonetsu. I don't think there's anything you can't do in Linux sound-wise, it's probably just missing some convenience features like automated drum tightening and advanced vocal tuning. I'm using calf plugins a lot, I really dig the guitarix plugins that model fender amps, guitars were reco...
