Re: Old soundfont files from hammersound.net
Added a few more of the ones which had Public Domain licenses. I tested them all and tried to only include the usable ones and added some comments where it made sense.

Re: New server for downloading Hydrogen kits
Just a note here, there seems to be a bug in the latest stable Hydrogen where it has trouble fetching libraries from external servers. It works with the official drumkit list, but I've had trouble making mine work in this older version. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the xml I'm genera...

New server for downloading Hydrogen kits
Just open hydrogen, go into 'Import Library' add this URL as a source: https://musical-artifacts.com/hydrogen_drumkits.xml After you update the list you should see 100+ hydrogen drum kits. These include: * The AVL Drumkits * Drumkits from SlackerMedia Linux Multimedia Sprint * A few other random one...

Re: Old soundfont files from hammersound.net
No takers on this? I'll probably get back to this project some time in the future, but right now I'm a little burned up from sorting through so many files... Anyway, even if you're not up to the task of documenting these files don't miss this spreadsheet. 300+ sound libraries with every last drop of...

Re: RaveGenerator2 VST : calling beta tester
Thanks for this neat plugin! I've tested for 30 minutes or so in Carla with the builtin samples and some of mine. From what I can see it's really stable and was easy to use and play around with. I had some trouble dragging the samples into the window until I read here that it's not implemented yet. ...

Re: Does anyone have the RedRokkit hydrogen library?
Conor Mc Cormack had it in his computer
Here it is: https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/254
And if you want to add if directly from hydrogen, add this URL to your 'Import Library' server list: https://musical-artifacts.com/hydrogen_drumkits.xml

Re: Hello from New Mexico, US
Welcome Stephen!
I'm now following you on soundcloud and your tracks are great. I've been getting into jazz lately and 'Arabesque 1' and 'Abstract 1' have given me a lot of food for thought besides being lovely to listen to!

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds
I suggest your great guitarix article be renamed, something like 'Guitarix: The Ultimate Guide',' instead of starting with 'Ultimate', so it will appear on the first page in that alphabetized category. It's too important a linux documentary to be missed by chance, or by someone in a hurry. Cheers I...

Does anyone have the RedRokkit hydrogen library?
It's supposedly a good sounding hydrogen library that was originally linked here: http://www.hydrogen-music.org/hcms/node/16 Searched the internet for it already and archive.org doesnt have the file archived... so does anyone have the RedRokkit hydrogen library in their HD? It might installed in you...

This is really nice. I don't use reaper myself but have a few friends who swear by it and it might help collaboration and bring them closer to open source tools.
