Ripchord: strange symbols
I downloaded Ripchord: https://trackbout.com/ripchord
There is a video where you can see what it should look like.
If I load the plugin to Carla, there are some strange symbols: There is the same issue with some other plugins like Ample Bass.

Re: Helio Workstation
Thanks for that hint. I like helio very much.
Unfortunately I can't hear any sound from helio after starting jack. Do you have the same issue?
Is it possible to integrate it into ardour?

General list of Linux compatible USB audio interfaces
I spent a lot of time searching the web for information about Linux compatible Audio Interfaces. There are several threads on LinuxMusicians https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=17472 https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=21127 https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=...

Re: disable frequency scaling after jack startup
Thank you. Unfortunately something went wrong. my startup and shutdown scripts in jack are: pactl set-card-profile alsa_card.pci-0000_00_1b.0 off && pactl set-card-profile alsa_card.usb-Burr-Brown_from_TI_USB_Audio_CODEC-00 off && pactl load-module module-jack-sink && sudo cp...

disable frequency scaling after jack startup
Before starting jack I manually do: cpupower frequency-set -g performance to disable frequency scaling and after shutdown: cpupower frequency-set -g powersave to enable it again. I would like to automate these commands when starting and shutting down jack. As described here https://linuxmusicians.co...

Re: Tascam US-122Mkii Not supported-True?
I just got my hands on my old Tascam US 122mkII. Using Arch Linux 4.9.4-1-ck, these are the steps how I got the audio inputs working: Blacklist snd_usb_audio. For this, add the line blacklist snd_usb_audio to /etc/modprobe.d/50-blacklist.conf. Reboot your system. Plug in the Tascam interface. cat /...

Ardour: note range issue
I usually do rightclick->note nange->fit contents on my midi channels to have a good overview about the midi notes.
But every single time I reopen a session in Ardour 5.12 the note range of all midi channels is shifted. That's very annoying. Is it possible to save these settings?

Re: run All of Guitarix as a plugin?
Only downside is that you can't use automation with such exported LV2 plugs, and state save/load becomes tricky. https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?t=18280 tricky or impossible? If I got it right, it only worked with qtractor in the other thread. Is there any way so save the state of guitarix...

General questions regarding the operation of guitarix
I like the software guitarix very much and I think it can do much more than I was able to figure out right now. I know there is manual https://sourceforge.net/p/guitarix/wiki/Main_Page/ and there is a tutorial https://libremusicproduction.com/articles/ultimate-guide-getting-started-guitarix.html Is ...
