Re: 44.1 kHz is slowly reaching its end
Dithering is quite uncommon in sample rate conversions. Just some examples: Adobe Audition: https://helpx.adobe.com/audition/using/converting-sample-types.html No dithering in S/R conversion, but prominent in bit depth reduction. iZotope: http://downloads.izotope.com/guides/izotope-dithering-with-oz...

Which is common for bit-depth manipulation but not for sample-rate modifications? It's called dithering.

Re: 44.1 kHz is slowly reaching its end
After taking a closer look while thinking about it there's two thoughts. #1 If it was rounding errors there should be a pattern but there's none. So it might be #2 it's some white noise added by the re-sample process in order to prevent from artifacts or something.

Re: 44.1 kHz is slowly reaching its end
To prove Lybertas statements I made some experiments. I created a short bash script using sox (a high quality re-sampler) via ffmpeg to iterate a thousand times over a 3 second sample containing a 15 kHz sine wave of 44.1 kHz S/R. The script re-samples the last rendered sample to 48 kHz and back to ...

Re: Breaking changes in Carla Plugin Host
You can still use Juce with its GPLv3 mode, but it's getting harder and harder to do that... You have to remove the tracking they added in their IDE/Project-Manager, then also remove the tracking and watermark on each generated project you create... There's also this.... https://forum.juce.com/t/an...

Re: Calf Studio Gear 0.90.0
Looks like an issue with Ardour/Mixbus since other hosts (e.g. Carla) show the text entry.

Re: Calf Studio Gear 0.90.0
There was a minor change in Calf initiated by FalkTX which now correctly propagates the LV2 InstanceAccess parameter but I guess it's Carla now offering instance access. FalkTX, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Calf Studio Gear 0.90.0
Hey Marcel, good to hear people making use of it. Regarding Haas/Multi Spread please keep in mind that both are completely different concepts and it depends what you want to achieve. Haas is creating stereo in the time domain, Multi Spread in the frequency domain. If you just want to blow a mono sig...

Hey tresf,
thanks a lot for taking care of this problem!
Probably we better should go on in the issues section of GitHub to keep things in place.

Re: Calf Studio Gear 0.90.0
Thanks a lot for trying it out! As mentioned in the other thread - if you find the time to submit a backtrace from gdb it would be very helpful. Is there any shared object file on your system named calf.so other than the freshly installed one? Asking because this is still a known problem with LMMS i...
