Re: Scarlett 2i2
I own one too and my settings are almost the same. I would check connections or other minor issues (monitoring knob on the interface ecc); in jack I had to set duplex and select the Scarlett for both input and output otherwise it would output via my onboard card. Hope this helps

Re: Lets get our favorite KXStudio guy paid!
Donated $10 but I'm not sure i can keep doing it every month so I'm not subscribing yet. I was going to do it as I am currently using kxstudio to work on some songs and then I saw this thread and thought I had to say thank you for your hard work. Keep it going

Re: Should KXStudio repos move to Debian?
Maybe I didn't understand well and I didn't know debian was supporting Steam. I have to say that some time ago, as I switched from windows to linux (maybe 2009?) I tried fedora, opensuse and debian and none of them was as user friendly as Ubuntu; installation process was long and complicated and ins...

Re: Should KXStudio repos move to Debian?
I voted no because as far as i can tell 99% of my friends who run linux on their machine run an Ubuntu LTS and I do too; a pair of them use it for audio production and most of them like Unity, Steam support, ecc. I don't belive this kind of people would like to switch from Ubuntu, wich is already a ...

Re: Some problems with Claudia and Cadence
I supposed so, and this is one of the reasons I'm not loading a default studio at login - for desktop usage of my pc is kind of problematic not having pulseaudio. But, if I start pluseaduio-bridge via cadence with a loaded studio, it simply doesn't start (and randomly cadence will crash). However, t...

Re: Some problems with Claudia and Cadence
Hi, I'm sorry I didn't reply before but I have been in hospital to fix my knee for a couple of days so I wasn't able to do a single thing. Now everything is ok and here I am :) What version of hydrogen do you have and what is the app-level set for hydrogen? (need to stop hydrogen to check the latter...

Some problems with Claudia and Cadence
hi all, I'm experiencing this problem with Claudia: hydrogen gives me an error while trying to save a whole project (save project) in a room: "unable to save song". I just don't know why..and sometimes the project himself is not saved. Tries to type in the url of the file manually in the c...

Re: Call for Testing - Cadence pre-Beta
I've been working like this with ladish too, and never understood completly why rooms and projects were actually there. I guess some more documentation about it would be nice. :/

Anything sync daemon?
Hi all,
in another topic, Puppy Studio related, I discovered the existence of this: anything-sync-daemon. I wonder if it could be useful to speed up audio-related applications and maybe get less xruns, or lower latency? I'm quite a noob so I'm asking you guys..
