Re: "s17-13" - progressive/electro

Re: "s17-13" - progressive/electro

you found it's really TOO much ? By today's standards, that's about how most pop music is mixed. There has been a growing tendency over the past 3 decades to try to get mixes "louder". Clipping that never would have been tolerated 30 years ago (the mastering engineer would have rejected i...

Re: "s17-13" - progressive/electro

There's a tremendous amount of clipping on that mix. My ears physically started hurting within 15 seconds. Clipping gives me serious ear fatigue. Guys, don't mix too loud. hello Jeff, i prefer dynamic, you found it's really TOO much ? tried justly to not break it a lot, like "what we hear"...

Re: my 1st release :D - "breathes EP" (deep-house)

I think the arrangement is good, but your mix has a lot of treble and little low end. At leat that's my impression. Some sounds even hurt my ears. So I see some improvement there. :) hey lilith and thx for critic, i really appreciate this coz it's sincere, and it's almost ok with what i think somet...

Re: Updated list of Linux compatible audio interfaces

Focusrite Saffire pro 24 (firewire) works really fine ! (ubuntu studio -> has all jack etc included, good disto !)

i don't remember if i tested her coupled with the pre amp Octopre MkII Dynamic (in ADAT) but i see no reasons for not working fine 16in 8out !
