Re: ALSA: error setting input device format bits
In general, the reason for setting realtime configuration and maybe a custom asoundrc is that only some distros are setup especially for realtime audio, as most users are not audio centric. I have had to set the realtime priorities on Manjaro and I used to have to do it on Mint. I don't need to set ...

Re: ALSA: error setting input device format bits
The 24 bit format might be need to be setup in a ~/.asoundrc file (/home/your-username/.asoundrc) Maybe something like this below but the device number (hw:1,0) and the card number (1) may need to be altered for your device, although the usb audio device and card number will usually be 1 if it's us...

Re: Waves Plugins INnstall Fail
I have the following overrides listed in wineconfig: d2d1 ierutil mfc140 mfc42 mfc42u nsi All are native, builtin. I do have Windows 10 installed on another hard drive on this machine. Would it make sense to use Windows dlls? I have no experience with that. The problem is due to recent Wine Staging...

ALSA: error setting input device format bits
If ALSA is trying to open something as an input device and it's not then maybe that causes the error.

Hi there, i'm new to the Forums. Sorry for bumping this one but I run into problems running wave central on wine-staging in manjaro. Re: Kontakt Player 6 ?
I think they are ok. Kontakt uses the vc runttime dlls (2015 I think) and winetricks vcrun2015 can be an option to install the real vc runtime dlls (instead of Wines builtin dlls) but you can try Kontakt without it. If you are using Wine-Stable then you might need the dll overrides I mentioned, if y...

Re: Kontakt Player 6 ?
Another thing is that from my testing (with Wine Staging), Kontakt tries to I did another install of Kontakt, but on a .wine that had quite a few over-rides, and also had robocopy installed. Wine-staging 4.21 on Bodhi linux, a ubuntu based distro that uses the Moksha system gui. The install of Nati...

Re: Kontakt Player 6 ?
Another thing is that from my testing (with Wine Staging), Kontakt tries to install the vc redist dlls and it doesn't seem to get installed, probably because it thinks that the Wine Staging's inbuilt dll's are already the vc redist dll's. So if someone wants the real vc redist dlls to be installed (...

I think that Drag and Drop from a Wine window doesn't work because of Wine.
