Re: ILOK, eLicenser & Waves plugins....
Bumping this thread, since I've run into some of the same problems. I'm running Manjaro. For me, iLok installed under Wine without a hitch, and has internet access. It works for my Soundtoys plugins (LittlePlate and SieQ) - I ran the Windows installers, updated yabridge, all good. But PhoenixVerb.....

Re: Windows VST PlugIns for a use in GNU/Linux?
Hi. After solving my approach of using Windows VST PlugIns in my OS, I'm looking for some additional, free and good Windows VST Plugins. Is there something like a full list? Anyone knows some great Synthesizer PlugIns known to work? All information appreciated... Thanks https://github.com/keybreak/...

Re: [SOLVED] Can't get linvst to work on Mint 20
Hello again ubuntuuser, I tried a newer version of linvst (3.15), and again get the same error than before. I can get vst2 to work with the 3.0 Manjaro version, as before, and that's fine, but I can't seem to find a working vst3 package now. LinVst3-2.15.zip downloaded from github does not work. I ...

Re: ILOK, eLicenser & Waves plugins....
When I attempt to install the iLok license manager it gets to the PACE installer but it freezes on the install screen. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/426136828861743134/770831626174988329/unknown.png I've tried this with various overrides posted in this thread, and with a clean wine install...

Re: Can't get linvst to work on Mint 20
As far as I know the LinVst binary files are not corrupt. Is your wineprefix 64 bit? Yes, and I also have 32-bit libs installed. Have you installed any dll overrides? No, nothing. If something is corrupt in your wineprefix then you might get that error. I have tried to remove .wine, install Wine an...

Re: Can't get linvst to work on Mint 20
Thanks, I've already tried all that before, but I tried it again anyway -- still the same result. As far as I know the LinVst binary files are not corrupt. Is your wineprefix 64 bit? Have you installed any dll overrides? If something is corrupt in your wineprefix then you might get that error. ----...

Re: Can't get linvst to work on Mint 20
I was using linvst with great success on Mint 18.3 for a couple of years, but after I got my new laptop, I just can't get it to work at all. Carla runs my WinVST's (v. 2 and 3) happily. I've installed and purged and reinstalled Wine and .wine many times and use only two plugins to test (one 64 bit ...

Re: tx16wx.vst3 On Linux Mint and LinVST3-1.8
Linux Mint 20 Cinnamom x64, Linvst3-1.8, Wine Staging5.14, Reaper 6.13 https://www.tx16wx.com/download/ Hi, Anyone use this sampler under LINUX? Whenever Reaper starts, LinVST3 crashes and warns me: Unhandled exception: C++ exception(object = 0x21c540, type = 0x18109a1d8, base = 0x180000000) in 64-...

Re: Good orchestral soundfont and sampler?
I have been searching for a good orchestral soundfont and a sampler that works with it. I've looked at VSCO, Essential Keys, and VPO. VPO seems to be the best of the bunch, but unfortunately does not loop correctly with Carla. I've been using sfizz as the sampler for VPO, but I'm getting a lot of c...

Re: ILOK, eLicenser & Waves plugins....
Update number 2: I noticed that if I scan the plugins in Reaper, PhoenixVerb.so is located, but iLok License Manager then throws an error that the license server is unavailable. That's the same error that I was getting before I tried installing the License Manager in its own prefix. I should note t...

Re: ILOK, eLicenser & Waves plugins....
I tried the iLok (software) out with the WaveArts Masterverb vst3 and LinVst3. No overrides or anything else installed, just basic Wine Staging 5.13. MX Linux, Wine Staging 5.13. I installed the iLok License Manager (using Wine) and then opened up an account. I then installed the WaveArts Masterb vs...

Re: Audio Glitching when using Windows VST
I'm using the latest Helix vst2, and I previously tested the first Helix vst2 version. When I said low cpu, I was thinking i7. On a fast Core 2 Duo the Helix amp models are hitting 40% cpu, so low latency on a Core 2 Duo is not going to happen but around 10ms is probably ok. On a i5 the 40% might re...
