Re: Dragonfly Hall Reverb

git clone --recursive -b valgrind https://github.com/michaelwillis/dragonfly-reverb.git

No change. Sometimes the freqencies' display is correct, sometimes only plain white.

Re: Dragonfly Hall Reverb

I get v1.1.3 from git only.

I can download the 1.1.4 archive but:

Code: Select all

hm@regen:~/src/dragonfly/dragonfly-reverb-1.1.4$ make
Makefile:7: dpf/Makefile.base.mk: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `dpf/Makefile.base.mk'. Stop.

Re: Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd Generation with Ubuntu 17 and Audacity

Hi! A side question for those running the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd Generation on Linux: is it suitable for a reasonably low latency live usage (with a guitar for example)? I have heard about a "USB Performance Mode" hardware setting, is it accessible from a Linux host? Thanks! All the ...

Sorry for the inconvenience but after I suffered from a Slowloris attack coming from a TOR exit node I am blocking all the TOR exit nodes.

Re: Calf Organ Plugin

There are many ways to do this. If you load CALF Organ into CALF Jack Host then you have to know that this Host only knows Jack MIDI. You need a bridge between ALSA MIDI and Jack MIDI, e.g. "a2j_control start" in a terminal. That starts a2jmidid. Then you can connect your MIDI keyboard in ...

It seems the bug has gone with latest git head.

EDIT: I was wrong. It still happens.

Make it more (or less) stereo

I've written a µ-HowTo based on my experiences: http://marzen.de/Holger/stereo_width/

EDIT: I added a mp3-file as an example.

Re: Any modern browsers with built-in support for JACK2?

I never cared about it because I have to configure Pulseaudio to output via jack-sink anyway: too many ALSA and Pulseaudio programs left.

Re: Suggestions appreciated for dual-DVI video card

I'm looking to replace my NVIDIA GF119 GeForce GT 610 and am interested in getting better performance. Ideas? If you want better audio performance then avoid graphic cards designed for gaming and 3D. Their drivers may disturb your PCs audio performance. Stay with onboard Intel graphics. Maybe you h...

Re: What are you feeling good about these days?

You're welcome! :D - Musicians can buy a lot of working audio hardware that's either usable without a PC or works with Linux. - Musicians can get a lot of good AND free software for Linux. That makes me happy. So many engineers who know that it's no good to make some hardware that only works with s...
