im finding some great sounds with it its a sake of spending some time with it and making sure you get the racks in the right place! im going to start by going through my set and making a sound for each one as i go a long and try and use existing ones as i build up dont need a massive array or preset...

im going to get them patched in side by side and try and get some of the preset sounds in rakarrack into guitarix ill look at the effects its using in rakarrack and apply them in guitarix and try and make them better for me. the presets in guitarix are a bit shoddy when you start pulling them to bit...

im thinking the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 is the one

This is quiet a good article on the many factors that effect latency.. but im going to look at making some more tweaks to the the kernel and system today .

i dont mind paying more - i like the scarlett stuff i just need the best latency and performance as im using it live
