Re: MusE saving Uhbik plugin state problem

Problem has been observed.
Waiting to get some time to test other plugins... ie. does it happen with others? I'll try this weekend.
I looked briefly through the code.
I seem to recall I fixed a very similar problem recently. I thought this was fixed.

Re: [solved..] Idiosyncratic combination causes crackles

Let's hope it stays that way. Side note: Can you guess which new audio server is now installed with this distro (and many others) ? I spent many hours reading very long threads and posts by many people including you and several other MusEers. Thank you for the roses! ("MusE is da bomb!" - ...

Re: Idiosyncratic combination causes crackles

Tested on a brand new install of openSUSE Tumbleweed (not by choice - by borking the previous install !). Quite painful to get set up again... This is a rolling distro - all packages are up to the minute very latest. I used Dexed vst3 and Odin2 vst3 downloaded from their sites, hosted in Carla-vst w...

Re: New MusE crash on big project.

Hi onefang Thanks for the song files. I got Surge 1.7.1 LV2 installed. I am seeing crashes with your file but it is not clear if they are the same crashes that you are getting. As soon as I got Surge installed it started crashing. Previously it was not, even with Yoshimi installed. So... There are a...

Re: New MusE crash on big project.

@impostor Are you sure? Does this remove LV2, linuxVST and even ladspa?

The ones that are missing here are:
Surge LV2
LL-Scope (???)
Invada meter LV2
RubberBand-pitchshifter (LADSPA)

I'm having trouble building Surge 1.7.1
Still trying...

Thanks.
T.

Re: New MusE crash on big project.

Hi. Trying to replicate. I am missing some of the plugins that you are using. So the song loads OK here, so far, without those plugins. One of them is Surge LV2. According to your song, the URI of Surge in your song is: https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/lv2/surge But this does not exist any more. ...

Re: MusE 4.2 released

I've been quiet for several days to pause for release. Does it mean all the bugs that were still present a week ago are fixed? No. But yeah, it was definitely time for a release, for example to help the packagers out there. I am happy it is now in much better shape than last release. I hope users ca...

Re: MusE has probs loading synths, saving sliders

Which version?
A version equal to or later than Aug 8 must be used for this to work properly.
Or else, a version older than several months ago - before I started tinkering with hex-floats.

Re: [ New ] Midi remote control redesigned

Thanks. CC step rest should be fixed in git master now. Yeah the whole global vs song thing, it's the reason I added song-specific settings. Ports can disappear between sessions. Not much I can do as far the global settings, but they are there if needed. [ Edit ] And ports can reappear again, such a...

Re: [ New ] Midi remote control redesigned

Thanks for the test. Should be fixed now in git master. Old songs and old config files both contained midi remote values. I neglected to accommodate that global vs song difference when loading these old values. All the values, regardless of whether they were in the config file or a song file, were i...

Re: MusE has probs loading synths, saving sliders

Calf GUIs need GTK.

See our README about LV2 GUIs and GTK support.

Maybe your version of MusE was not built with the necessary GTK support compiled in ?
Or if it was, maybe try installing GTK runtime packages ?

[ New ] Midi remote control redesigned

Hi all. After some discussions in another thread, I have re-worked the midi remote control dialog. A lot. In github master now. It may seem overkill, but it was necessary for maximum flexibility of users' midi devices and controllers. I hope this helps the few who use this feature. [ Edit ] Dependin...
