... the question that comes up is:
is 49 Euro really a good price?
Is it so much better then the foss FM alternatives?

Re: Equalizer with background picture?

As it's a very weird request I suggest you use a marker (washable) on your monitor.

Re: Sitala no more Linux support

It's unclear what packaging means here. But I suppose it's a dependencies. Ubuntu LTS is fine for that, except you forget to disable CURL for your JUCE based plugin, which is a case for sitala, I guess.

Re: Sitala no more Linux support

Is the current situation for software development in Linux so bad? I don't have "badness" scale, but these two points looks fair: Most of the bugs come from the framework we use (JUCE) and in the past we’ve spent a lot of time hunting down Linux bugs in JUCE, and sent them upstream to a b...

I'm not using any windows plugins. I rather stay within the Linux eco system. The problem is using stuff like the calf plugins etc. I can use some of them though the native UI in reaper but it's not a great experience

Have you tried Ildaeil https://github.com/DISTRHO/Ildaeil ?

Re: Novice question re Yabridge

Yabridge is a bridge, not a host. You can run any Linux DAW/host with your keys then load some Linux nativeB3 organ. Or, if you really want it, use Windows VST/CLAP plugins via Yabridge inside the DAW/host.

Re: Geekos DAW (libre music-making repository for openSUSE)

Maybe my git changes can be extracted as a patch, and simply applied as an RPM packaging patch, as is sometimes seen in packages. Here would be a good use case for such a patch - benign linker fix and not too 'code-altering'. Until our next release comes out. Let me know if any trouble. Unfortunate...

Hi @Basslint

I hope I am referring to the same repo discussed here...
Is anyone here able to contact the maintainer of the OBS Geekos DAW?

Hi! Thank you so much.
Build should be fixed now.

Re: Drumrox - DrMr fork

I think https://github.com/x42/robtk is the best toolkit for porting GTK2-based plugins. Does Robin's toolkit support HiDPI? These days, most everything is high resolution, and those of use who run at high resolutions can't use plugins unless they scale up to 200%-300%. It would be kind of pointles...
