Re: Yoshimi does not show up

16 is stlll supported and therefore current OS.
Yoshima already works under it. Is it that hard to implement the lv2 support for 16 so it remains supported as a current OS? Many other programs also do that.
So i was wondered about that.

Re: Are there affordable microphones that last for decades?

The Q7 is what most people go for, and it works ok for some voices but the Q8 is a better option Q8 specifications look good. Thanks for explaining. Q7 specification are as good as almost every $20 microphone. About the other specifications you are right. A good interface which can handle more wide...

Re: Are there affordable microphones that last for decades?

My Shure SM58 has been with me for decades, it's still the best mic for my vocals and it's designed for heavy-duty use. A question i have always had? Re: Yoshimi does not show up

1.3.8 is a very old version of Yoshimi - so old it doesn't actually have LV2 implemented! I was afraid it would be something like the path. After looking at the ardour guides how it handles plugins i could not find it either in de ladspa or lv2 path. It is the version i installed from the softwarec...

Re: Yoshimi does not show up

Yoshima is good. I like it a lot. Want to use it in my ardour. :? Tried the automated re-scan. Even set it on re-scan on startup and started up again. Still not there. Under pref-plugins is a list with paths. Can it be that i must add the Yoshima path manually? Or is it otherwise possible to add Yos...

Re: Yoshimi does not show up

Your right. Was misspelled. Changed the image with correct search term.
Does not make a difference. It still does not show up. Can not find it in the plugin listings either.

Works great if started directly under linux. I must really do something wrong.

Re: Spicing up existing vocals

I'm working on a plugin that might be of use for you. (Linux lv2/vst) https://github.com/rghvdberg/ninjas2 It's a sample slicer. Looks very interesting. I now do that otherwise. Hope your plugin can make that be done quicker, and if so then for sure i am interested. Now the biggest unwanted joke of...

Re: Spicing up existing vocals

Other than singing the part differently (which is the first thing that comes to mind, because it's the easiest way of doing this), what I would imagine involves changing the timing and inflections (and possibly also the key/tuning) of the vocals. That's more than any single plugin will do. That's a...
