Re: Mooer GE300 lite on linux

I've contacted Mooer about having the software made for Linux and they're not interested. My Mooer GE150 I think it's called as it's been in a closet for a few years worked great with the usb connection. I just had to connect it to a windows laptop to load new sounds and IRs. Why I hate their FX uni...

any Linux plugins can do this?

Hi everyone, I just saw this video here and I was thinking, I was in this situation not too long ago and I had to go and redo everything from scratch but this plugin here would be a lifesaver if we had a native one or do we have one? https://youtu.be/251qCIbAvBI?si=dZWIyW7vXnDE7rLk I I think this is...

LSP para stereo EQ and AutoEQ

Hey, I know there is a tread going about autoEQ but I couldn't find an answer to this. LSP parametric EQ has option to import or load APO file and it does sat .txt extensions. I tried to import the settings from AutoEQ into the plugin but nothing happens. Is there a curtain way to do this or LSP doe...

upd: +Charm - the saturation effect, makes sound more "analog". Stereo input/output.

Yes I've noticed the warmth..

Re: Neural Record

Edit: Ok maybe I'm not following the instructions correctly. I Qjackctl, I've connected Neural Record (as if it's sending the signal) to the vst. I then return the signal after passing through the vst back to the Neural Record. If that is correct, I'm getting an error. At first you must run the LV2...

This is slightly off topic, but I thought Audio Assault plugins generally have linux versions. Looking at their website, https://audioassault.mx, I don't see anything called bassgrinder, however.

Here is the link. I forgot to share.

Re: LSP MIDI Trigger crashing MIxbus32C

Hopefully it's an overall fix because the sampler does the same thing too. I decided to try x42 trigger with your sampler and the sampler crashed the DAW

LSP MIDI Trigger crashing MIxbus32C

Hey, anyone having any issues with so far ONLY with LSP MIDI Trigger and Mixbus32C? Everything else works amazingly but the trigger. When I open the plugin for editing, as soon as I close it the UI goes blank, Mixbus32C locks up then clashes about a minute later. I am using the multi-band compressor...

Re: SSL and Harrison consoles

Funny as you said that though you're on to something. Almost every flat screen TV in fact I think all of them run on Linux. The problem is us desktop users. Last time I was a distro watch I think we had over a hundred different versions of Linux so yes I can see the commercial company saying you kno...

Re: SSL and Harrison consoles

Yes Ben just emailed me back and he said that the AVA plugins were actually not just made for Harrison consoles DAWs But was more to get the pro tools users and stuff like that. He said keep in mind that everything is only a few months old and they are pushing for us so he's asking us to just have p...

Re: SSL and Harrison consoles

OK, so I'm getting full-on angry now. (don't worry, it will pass :D). The latest news from SSL is that they want existing Harrison AVA users to 'upgrade' to iLok. https://support.solidstatelogic.com/hc/en-gb/articles/13697294653085-Existing-AVA-Harrison-Plugin-users Fuck you SSL. Fuck right off, an...

Re: SSL and Harrison consoles

I've always hoped that some $big$ outfit that uses linux in render farms to produce movies, would expand their linux use to the audio side of hollywood productions. Paul Davis and Ben Loftist offer some basic comments on the ownership change in this topic: https://discourse.ardour.org/t/harrison-an...
