Re: Lexicon Omega doesn't work

From the manual i see, when the blue led is active, there's being communicated with the interface & computer. About the interface isn't visible via lsusb. Maybe it helps if you update the usb device list with the command update-usbids ? The hum, could be a grounding problem or maybe caused by a ...

I tried Simplesyxxer.

It's quite old, 2009, last update 2013 i saw.
But it looks like it's working.

Tried is for uploading sysex file to bcf2000 today
Made connections via qjackctl (needed a2jmidid) and the bcf2000 was reacting and
bcf2000 is doing it according the sysex file so it's working :).

Re: Carla 2.0 beta3 is here!

Strange. I tried installing yesterday again from source the git-version instead of from the repo's, but failed (something with styles not available) so today i installed again carla-git (beta 4, 1.9.6 according help-about, dpkg -l says 1.9.5). Launched the standalone version, the lv2 plugins were av...

Re: Carla 2.0 beta3 is here!

I installed carla(beta4) today from the repo. Want to use as vst in bitwig, to use zita-at1 an others but carla seems to find 0 lv2 plugins, the lv2 paths are correct. All the vst's are founded. If i want to scan for new plugins, i even don't have to possibility to enable/disable scan for lv2, which...

Re: Linux DSP on Ardour

I don't know what version that you use of ardour, but with the git-version you can't set up the vst plugin directory from the preferences window.

Re: Take U-he audio production survey, get $25 coupon

I'm already using the beta port of podolski, It's running fine but got some recent troubles with it, saving pluging states etc in bitwig beta.
Should test it out with ardour and stable bitwig version if the problem exist also.

Re: Dexed updated

it's drop dead gorgeous. btw Still have a book somewhere about FM synthesis : "FM Synthese in de praktijk" (practical FM synthesis). It's in dutch and very technical. It shows you what kind of wave form you get when modulating the sine waves , etc etc. If people are interested I can post ...

Re: New AV software in Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can install it from testing also. There's an installer for it.

I use testing/unstable with kxstudio for extra's on desktop & laptop. For me it's stable enough and never have serious issues.

... The Vex synth was a nice (re)find, simple to program good sounds quickly, but too bad there's no patch save function. Not to worry, BW remembers its last settings, I don't have to reprogram it for each use. Dave, Does bitwig really save the patches from Vex? ;-) Here it seems like it doesn't. I...

Re: a bit of a Bitwig update

Greetings, I'm testing many native Linux VST/VSTi plugins. Standouts for sound include Discovery, Aspect, NoizeMaker, and Vex. All my linuxDSP plugs work without problems and with comparatively light CPU usage. The Vex synth was a nice (re)find, simple to program good sounds quickly, but too bad th...

Is it possible to glide/slide notes in Nekobi? If i want to glide notes on my xoxbox, i let notes overlap each other in a daw, but these doesn't seem to work so maybe there another possibility? That should work as Nekobi does portamento by default assuming that's what you mean by glide/slide. Which...

can't wait to try it out! since freecycle died theres nothing like this on linux.
Debian has aubio 0.4.1 in the testing/unstable repositories. don't know about stable.
I presume that ubuntu has it also since releases are twice a year.
