midisport-firmware_1.2+dsfg1-0ubuntu4_all.deb. I am able to start jack via the commandline (jackd -d alsa), but I only see midi thru (via Aconnectgui). I can also play midi filles with timidity. But then the midi file is played on my sound card and not via an external midi device. I can't start jac...

how does midi sounds with for example zynsubaddfx or vkeybd with qsynth? When I press three or more tones at ones (chords) I here a distorted sound comming out of my speakers... I get that with qsynth sometimes, and fix it by turning down the gain in qsynth. another suggestion: i use jackrack + lim...

I used ninjam, it' s great. Somewhere (search in the ninjam forum) exist jackd patch, and is almost stable.
