Re: "nowhere hills" a new ambient experiment

It is a lovely texture! And it does not need to hide behind its colleagues. The ebb and flow feels so natural and balanced. The noise does work well with the piece, but gets a little taxing over time. But maybe that's my ears being to sensitive to certain frequencies. What did you use to perform th...

Re: "nowhere hills" a new ambient experiment

I really like the slow speed of this. There is a wave-like flow to it. It takes courage to let things move so slowly, like the ending. There are some really nice guitar-strumming heavy processed sounds at eg 14:30 and recurring. But my favorite part is the overdrive section at 30:00, that is brilli...

"nowhere hills" a new ambient experiment

i haven't been posting here a while , despite releasing quite a few stuff . pretty much everything is now available either on badcamp or peertube (and pretty much everything is on 0net as well) . but i'm not gonna bore you with old stuff rather , here's a fresh album from today : that kind of noise ...

Re: marginal notes

Yes, I meant the former, the making of each track, but your posted description of how you put together the whole album was interesting too! Thank you! glad you enjoyed it ! the process of making of each track is somewhat different every time , but i'm hoping to write up some sort of summary soonish...

Re: marginal notes

thanks for review and the highlights , i'm glad you liked it /^_^\ Sometimes I found the tracks a bit too repetitive or not dynamic enough, but that is a matter of taste (or bad listening on my part). it might indicate the feeling of meditativeness i tried to go in some tracks (hence repetition) did...

marginal notes

an album of noise & semi-noise semi-melodic atmospheric stuff , which took painfully more time to finish . as usual , ardour , CC-BY-SA and it's been released on ZeroNet . i'm tired of promoting it though , so here's just a link to bandcamp: https://caryoscelus.bandcamp.com/album/marginal-notes

Re: Collaborative sound collage

And then, years later, i'm finally making a proper release of this track (as "history museum" on the upcoming marginal notes album). I'm going to attribute everyone who's samples i've used; by default i'll refer to users of this forum by their nicks, but if you'd like that changed (or even...

Re: [noise mv] count misfortune

thanks! i kinda made this a video specifically to appeal to broader audience ;) but at the same time the music wholly depended on the video: i loaded it into ardour and layered music on top, always checking how it plays together. i started with some heavily distorted and otherwise processed "sa...

[noise mv] count misfortune

that kind of noise — count misfortune

another music video and another video utilizing silent movie footage — except this time i made music after the video (so technically one might see it as a video with soundtrack instead of mv F_F)

full album is coming soon

Re: 'scapes -- soundscape guitar improvisation

This is an interesting "soundscapes" album. I enjoyed the textures and the glimmerings of a varied heritage. I think I never listened to guitar based soundscapes before, not in that way. Thanks for an intriguing and educational album. Best wishes, Jeanette Thanks for your words ^_^ No nee...

Glad to hear that ;) I'm interested how would you call this genre? (I rarely know how to classify my music heh)

'scapes — soundscape guitar improvisation

https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a4169746993_2.jpg as the year ends i'm trying to tie all the loose ends and thus releasing a lot of stuff that was lying around waiting — one of these is three track soundscape album i've recorded back in january , in the vein of nice place , 'scapes . it was recorded the ...

awaiting — another noise album

my previous album was a live piano recording , so it didn't had much to do with gnu/linux and software in general , but the new latest — freshly released ̈ awaiting ̈ is another of those digitally processed field recordings there are only two — though long — tracks , united by theme (both are record...
