Re: Plugin that has as default sound with long release time?

Now that I'm looking it's interesting to see how many don't have any release as default. The mda plugins might work, the piano has some release. The JX10 has a lot, it's a kind of paddy sound by default. JX10 sounds ok with that first, percussive chord, but with rest, not good. Most likely best wou...

Plugin that has as default sound with long release time?

( https://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=8351 ) For circumventing bug, one solution would be some instrument which has long release time. But that instrum...

Re: DAW that can export as midi file ???

I think in Ardour, there is no midi export. However, you can get midi clips from ardour project directory. And if your midi work consists from many clips, connect your midi track to new midi track (for example called 'MidiExport'), record it to there, and then you will find it under YourSongName/int...

Re: Piano + midi in Linux???

And in case you want to turn back to Darkside, pretty many windows plugins are possible to make working also in linux. Sure, if you can live without them, your life is easier: sometimes wine version update breaks things, etc.

Re: Piano + midi in Linux???

For piano, I would download Salamander Grand piano sfz, and use it with carla, or get liquidsfz plugin tu your ardour.

Re: midi browser

With Mixbus (I assume the same with Ardour) you can audition MIDI files using the import function. It has a browser that lets you scroll through files. Actually, this does not work properly. In beginning of file notes are played percussive. I've made also bug report about it https://tracker.ardour....

Re: Electronic Drums

Can you recommend some electronic drums samples/synths? (Some classic drum machines would be great, as well as more "modern" samples.) If you don't mind giving your email, there is plenty of places offering free drum kits, for example https://samplesfrommars.com/collections/free https://s...
