Hi!
If it is Steinberg UR22 then there are no problems. Works out of the box!
If there is another Steinberg model... should work either!

Re: Jack Bridges disabled in Cadence
Hi, I just installed Cadence on Linuix MINT 18 and I find that the section on "JACK Bridges" is completely disabled on the main menu :( I would like to use a pulse audio bridge. I've also installed pulseaudio. Is there anything else I need to install to enable this functionality? I had sa...

Re: Kontakt on Linux using Wine?
That was my bad. Everything was set to 32 bit system while trying to launch 64bit app.allinitis wrote: Did you do winetricks and install DLLs... vcrun2005, vcrun2008 and vcrun2010, gdiplus, and gdiplus_winxp? I have a feeling it's missing those dependencies.

Re: Kontakt on Linux using Wine?
I managed to get Kontakt running in Carla, both stand-alone and in ardour. Could you make a full tutorial how to configure and launch kontakt? That would be awesome. Hello :-) When you say launch and configure kontakt, you don't mean the installation of everything involved, just how to scan...

Re: Audio to midi via drumgizmo
you give DrumGizmo a drum track and then it recognizes the hits and replaces them with different drum samples Oh, well... That's not good that drumgizmo does not have this feature.. :( Is there any app to do this job? (detecting drum hits and creating midi track) All I want is to apply samples over...

Audio to midi via drumgizmo
Hi, everyone!
I wonder If it is possible to put samples on the real drums?
I mean: e.g. kick track somehow converting to midi and then to that midi track apply another drum samples.
Thanks!

Hi, guys! So, I wonder if my system is set properly for audio production... I've done these things (I do it always after fresh system install): 1. Adding user to audio group $ sudo adduser USER audio 2. Setting memory limit to unlimited (/etc/security/limits.conf): @audio - rtprio 95 @audio - memloc...

Re: Plugins for bass and guitar
I prefere to use real amplifier and microphone for this purpose. If I had one for guitar I wouldn't have asked about plugins, etc. :D (low budget chemistry student here  ) I've just installed latest guitarix version, tried to do some things with that, found that there is plenty of presets (wit...

For guitar I've been using guitarix effects but it's time to find out if there are better stuff than that. :D The hardest part is BASS. I don't know what to do with that... Really. One good thi...

How do you create realistic and live drum track? For a while I've been using drumgizmo with ardour, before that I've been using hydrogen to...
