You're probably missing that.If you're using a system newer or equal to Debian 9 (Stretch) or Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) you'll also need to enable GCC5 packages.

Re: Dependency problems installing kxstudio-meta-audio or meta-all on debian gnome
The usual culprit would be the missing gcc5 repos. Did you enable those too? GCC5 is only on debian testing debian stretch only has gcc-5-doc, how do I enable this? Is this the right way? Add debian testing repo to your apt sources by creating a file on /etc/apt/sources.list.d folder containing the...

Dependency problems installing kxstudio-meta-audio or meta-all on debian gnome
Hello I want to get back on the open source, after messing with windows and cracks I decided I'd rather be part of the solution then part of the problem :p. I absolutely love kxstudio and the JACK. But when I try to install I get the following error $ apt-get install kxstudio-meta-audio Reading pack...

Re: Getting push to work under wine on Ableton?
I use wine 1.9.22 with POL after analyzing the behavior I think everything is hooked up well inside JACK, it's just the way the controller script is handling the push is wrong. Cause ableton thinks it's in windows and the in windows PUSH is supposed to be same port in/out it's just called Push and n...

Getting push to work under wine on Ableton?
Hello I recently bought a push1 controller and have been trying to get it to work in ableton with not much luck. The closest I've come is getting it to work until I trigger one scene (the scene plays and after nothing works until I refresh remote on/off then I can do some stuff again and then it sto...

Re: Problems with Cadence ALSA Bridge
apt-get clean deletes the temporary package files you have around, nothing else. Yeah that's what I tought. (I did the boot in recovery mode, clean, I assumed this was the same as apt-get clean) But after reboot my whole system was fucked, no more network connectivity, gui of dolphin was super stra...

I'll check it, thx mate!sysrqer wrote:Zynaddsubfx can do it, it gives you a lot of control. There is a video on Youtube by unfa where he demonstrates how to do it.
Bitwig's synths can do that job though, layered if necessary.

Any suggestions for Kick Drum VSTi
I want to find plugins that can make phat kick drums. Looking for that teKno, breakcore sound. Or maybe some old skool 808/909 sounding stuff. Prefferably VST (Bitwig only supports this so far and I really want to give it a chance it is a pretty cool DAW), but any native linux plugin will do. So wha...

Problems with Cadence ALSA Bridge
I had a perfect KXStudio install and then fuckt it up with apt-get clean  . Wise lesson never run commands you don't fully understand :D. So I went for a new minimal debian install with KXrepos (meta-all) everything was working fine and then suddenly my sound on flash player stopped working :(...

Sampleing in piano roll lv2 or dssi plugins?
Hello I just bought some midi controller pads and want to use it to control drums and other sample's. But my current DAW (LMMS) only allows one sample per piano roll. So I was wondering if there were any lv2 or dssi plug-ins to use multiple samples in one piano roll. Btw is ladspa only used for effe...

Is it that bad though? If we just don't buy the computers manufacturers will probably stop making them. Online petitions don't make a lot of difference but I signed anyway.

Re: I could use a nudge in the right direction..
Hello Sherowdee I'm just starting out too I'm using LinuxMultiMediaStudio and qtractor at the moment. Lmms is very similar to FL and easy for beginners like us. Qtractor is a little more complicated but less then ardour :D. Qtractor resembles to cubase a litle bit. All you really have to do is start...

Re: Cracking audio on Ubuntu Studio
Okay so now I had it when starting up the program without a spike in processor use. Really fucking annoying Edit: Now I have it every time when I load up my song. I have to mute the synthesizers, save, load another song, load the first song again and unmute. Then I can work a little bit and it start...
