forcing eHCI over xHCI

Re: ableton link and live tempo changing

Ok I think I'm not being totally clear: I'm not trying to say that a JACK timebase master should act as an "AL master" as well but as just another AL client. In my view, the JACK timebase master and all JACK clients that listen to it are acting as a single "app" within the AL net...

Re: ableton link and live tempo changing

Tempo changes are underspecified The current implementation might actually be sufficient to support tempo changes, but the API is not entirely clear on how this should work. There are 2 ways of doing tempo changes: sharing a 'tempomap' among all synchronized applications, so that each can convert t...

Re: ableton link and live tempo changing

jftr. there's these posted upstream: https://github.com/Ableton/link/pull/5 https://github.com/Ableton/link/pull/6 however, for the time being, this is only about adding example applications (linkhut, qlinkhut, etc.) with jack audio support, as in alternative to portaudio on linux. again for the ti...

jack c++ API

is there no standard C++ API for JACK that people use? i found this which is 2 years old as well as what appears to be an API by male . I thought a lot of LAU apps are written in C++, do people just use the C headers and drudge their own way to success? ( also how do I post to LAD? I tried posting a...

carla hacking please

hey falktx, i want to be able to drag and drop an LV2 plugin URI into carla and have it load, mainly so i can use it with my project surplus (though lv2 listing isn't even working right now, oops). I realize this functionality probably isn't useful for most people so i wouldn't mind custom compiling...

Re: [ANN] LSP Plugins 1.0.6 have been released

tatch It's a known problem of Carla. falkTX is currently fighting with it (some of the problems solved in latest Git commits). You may use the linuxVST version of the plugin instead of LV2, it works well (on relatively old Carla) because does not use LV2 atom transport and LV2 URID extension that a...

Re: transition everything to Discourse

we could work w the current linuxaudio mailing lists and possibly get around to using a single discussion forum is nobody interested in this? for both LM and LAU/LAD communities this means being able to access a unified english-speaking community with their platform of choice (html forum or email)....
