Re: Some sampling/mashups/electronic stuff
For samplig, well, it is not a full sampler but an Ableton alternative: Harry Haaren's Luppp should do the trick for most of the sampligin purpose of an average remixer. http://harryhaaren.blogspot.com/2012/05/luppp-milestone-timestretch.html Kinda beta till these days, but it worth a while take a l...

Re: Some sampling/mashups/electronic stuff
Hi Farbro! nice work!
I'm not very into sampling and rearranging themes into new ones, though your sound is very compact... Well done. A technical question: Did you sampled the tracks straight into Ardour or did you used a smapler like Petri-Foo?
Let me suggest a genre name: Samplectro

Re: A Couple of EPs
Well done Irwin! I won't comment on the tracks because electronic music is not my cup of tea but I say "Congratulations!" and "Hello!" from Pablo_F @ hispasonic. No problem about commenting! Por cierto, hola Pablo_F, hace tiempo estaba pensando si eras el Pablo de Hispasonic. :)

A Couple of EPs
Hi to all, first, I must apologize myself because I've being out of forum posting these days... Too much mental dissonance after University tests, anyway... I'm here to present you a couple of works that I produced as "Altiplane" my pseudonym, that you may like. Both are Electronic based p...

Re: Step by Step KXStudio with Linux Mint!
Woa! Those are some good cue notes for the starters in KXStudio. I have never installed it completely, just some pieces and chucks of software, but till I get a newer desktop machine I'll install it from scratch.
Thanks for the tutorial!

A Deep House EP made on GNU/Linux
Hi to all! today I bring you the last of my works, a Deep House EP named Rainy Season EP. As I stated at my Bandcamp page: The rainy season is time of year, covering one or more months, when most of the average annual rainfall in a region occurs. In my country it tends to be long and powerful. These...

Re: Looking for a Video Card
In my previous experience with Intel GPUs, they worked OK for me. Never had a glitch or something that bothered me the most. Just the usual, low GPU power, low GDRAM and the usual. But for Desktop computing they are kind the best. At the I decided towards nVidia based GPU. A EVGA GeForce 210 of 1Gb ...

Re: Where is Cadence-Render?
Sure it saves on CPU power, but I've found that it also looses something from using the original. It generally mixes better coming directly from the soft synth, mainly because you're adding more to the gain staging. I could also route everything to just one new track and get my final mix that way. ...

Re: Where is Cadence-Render?
@ Irwin: Would you report back after testing the current Version. I'd like to know what works and what doesn't :-) Absolutely, I will report as soon as I remember where the hell is the LADSPA plugin "Simple Low Pass Filter". After that I'll render the project and give the output. Glad I'm...

Re: Where is Cadence-Render?
Woah! that was fast!
I'm installing them. I'm not going to upgrade the whole distro at the moment, but I'll do it in a few more weeks after I finish some stuff.
Regarding Cadence-Render, I'm installing it. Thanks a lot FalkTX!

Hi, I was looking at KXStudio site and I found this lovely piece of software called Cadence Render. I would like to install it because Ardour does not supprot RealTime render, so I have to open Audacity in order to mixdown my projects becuase some software synth are not pretty happy with non-RT rend...
