Re: Ampsim VST dont work with Festige, wine 1.3
But FeSTige is deprecated now and I don't develop it anymore. Perhaps you can try fsthost? I wasn't aware of that!!. That explains a lot of things!!!! Right now Im downloading Carla wine package from synaptic (which has already marked carla package and other dependencies, surely that's enough...

Ampsim VST dont work with Festige, wine 1.3
Hi, I recently had to format my HD and reinstall all programs. I used to record guitar tracks with Nick Crow's and Lepou's VSTs with wine 1.2, but now I installed the festige with wine1.3 patch and those vsts don't work. I already tested with guitar rig 2 and it works perfectly, also some other vsts...

Re: Is LUBUNTU a suitable option for audio-recording tasks?
Problem solved, It seems that I was using an old version of festige and wine, I removed them and installed the lastest.
By the way, can any fan of ampsims help me with this issue?.

Re: Is LUBUNTU a suitable option for audio-recording tasks?
Hi again to everyone, well, I had to format my HD and follow all the steps that you adviced me on the previous posts. Just an issue here, My new jack installation seems to be reporting more % DSP load than my previous installation!!!. By example. I used to track guitar parts with GX/Head (A guitarix...

Re: Menus have disappeared from Qtractor, Crash problems!!!
Hi, as I offered, this is my first demo mix with Linux software.
One question, I used mute automation, but it seems that this is not responding on time at each track.

Re: Menus have disappeared from Qtractor, Crash problems!!!
Thanks for your replies dudes, My version of Qtractor is 0.5.4 SVN downloaded from tangostudio repository (Im just guessing about source). I was recording in OGG format, I dont know specifically what's been happening. I set up a template for recording only one mono channel; before using gladish ever...

Menus have disappeared from Qtractor, Crash problems!!!
Hi everyone. Ive recently started to work with gladish for saving work sessions. I created a studio environment (festige--> guitar rig--> qtractor). Everytime I record some tracks, qtractor sudennly stops creating audio clips during recording. then, when I stop recording, audio clip disappears. Clip...

Re: Working with multilayered custom compiled soundfont!!!
So far, my first experiments went good; jack makes easy to connect midi from tuxguitar to Qsynth. Now Im trying to simulate the stereo heavy gtr with a delay; unfortunately Qsynth only provides reverb and chorus, not a delay. Any idea of a sampler that could provide audio delay FX or otherwise, can ...

Working with multilayered custom compiled soundfont!!!
Hi, I would like to ask for a recommendation for a lightweight w/soundfont capabilities notation editor or sequencer. My aim is to work with custom-compiled soundfonts. I have a guitar soundfont which I compiled to have powerchords on lower layer-velocities and single notes, palm mutes on higher lay...

Re: Is LUBUNTU a suitable option for audio-recording tasks?

Re: Is LUBUNTU a suitable option for audio-recording tasks?
I think his doubt is what dbus in jack is for. I have the same doubt. I run jack over qjackctl wit dbus-option unchecked. When would you check this box, and what for? Ladish f.e. needs jackdbus but manages jackd on it's own. So I wonder what this is all about. After exhaust searching, it seems I ha...
